Tonight, I made a meal for my family that they all loved! And maybe you guys will too. So I will include pictures and videos of the progress, and the instructions. The step by step process. Then maybe you can make it yourselves for your family. If you try It, let me know what you think!
first, I started by filling the pot with water, to get that going on the stove, to boil. I then preheated the oven, opened the package of chicken, and got it out. I then washed my hands after placing each chicken breast on the baking sheet. Then, I grabbed the seasoning. I didn't want to touch the seasoning directly after touching the chicken, because everyone knows about the dangerous germs on Raw Chicken. Salmonella and stuff like that. I seasoned one side of all the chicken breasts. I then used a fork to flip the chicken so I could season the other side, without needing to use my hands and get them Germy again. The oven was preheated by then. So I popped that in the oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Shortly after, the water in the pot was boiling. So I poured in the pasta. I then set the timer for 12 minutes. (We typically add a minute from the time it's suggested for Al Dente. Al Dente isn't cooked to our liking.) once that was done, it was strained. Then, put back in the pot, to mix in the Two Jars of Alfredo Sauce. I used Ragu Classic Alfredo, and Ragu Roasted Garlic And Parmesan Alfredo sauce. I stirred that really well, until all the pasta was coated. I waited for the chicken to be done. After the 45 minutes, I cut the chicken in half. It was still slightly pink in the middle, so I put it back in the oven for an additional 5 minutes. Then it was perfectly cooked! I cut the chicken into chunks. As I did that, I put a bag of SteamFresh mixed vegetables in the microwave for 5 and a half minutes. I cut about 2 and a half of the four chicken breasts, to put into the pasta. Once it was all cut up, I stirred that into the pot of pasta. I stirred that really well so the chicken could get evenly coated in the Alfredo sauce. I then added the steamFresh veggies into the pot, and once again, stirred it all throughout the pot. My whole family loved it! My dad said it was pretty good, and he told me "Good Job!" And my mom loved it. My sister said it was really good! My mom and I are actually craving seconds. It's funny. When I was finished with my bowl, a couple minutes later, I thought to myself "Awww, I have no more. Not even a piece of chicken." I tend to not like making dinner for my family. Or even for myself! But this was something I thought of, last night. So I was inspired to get in the kitchen. I usually plan to make spaghetti or something basic. But when it comes time to make it, I don't want to. I do... but I don't want to. I realize it's because it's the same old same old. If I try something new that I make up, or am inspired by a restaurant meal, I am excited. I plan it and I stay motivated and excited the whole time I'm in the kitchen. So if you're like me, and you're struggling to have motivation to cook for your family, I hope you'll be excited to try a new recipe like I gave instructions to today. Also feel free to try the other two recipes posted before this. I'll include pictures later. It's giving me problems on here. More recipes will be posted when I cook more.
