Chapter 7

Kailiah's P.O.V.

Calum pushed my dad off of me and started punching him. He didn't stop until he blacked out. He then rushed over to my dresser and threw a shirt at me and grabbed some other things. Then he picked me up bridle style and carried me to his car. What was he even doing here? I can't believe this out of all people Calum saved me. "Um are you okay?" He looked at me with a serious face. "Y-yeah I guess." He looked at the road and turned down the road to his house. When we pulled up I unbuckled and went to open my door but Calum was already there with a smirk on his face. This felt so familiar. I walked in to his house and walked up to his room. It felt so different. I use to have a crush on him he was my first kiss.

*flashback.*

"Ugh I love summer I love pennyboarding." Calum looked over at me smiling. We were heading to his house since my dads a bitch. We rode up into his drive way and I open the door and raced to his room and jumped on his bed. "I win" I said giggling. Calum raced in and jumped on top of me. He was sitting on top of me and he's face was inches away from mine. I could feel my face heating up. "Um Calum what ar-" I was cut off but Calum brushing his lips against mine. "I-i like you Kailiah."

*End of Flashback*

Tears formed in my eyes thinking about that day. Calum walked in and just kinda stood at the door. And soon as he saw the first tear fall he had ran up to me and hugged me. After a few minutes he let go. "Um Calum why were you at my house?" He cringed and looked me in the eyes. "I'm so sorry for hurting you Kailiah. I miss you so much. You were my best friend but I let Ashton and Luke ruin it that day." Tears were forming in his eyes and he was biting his lip. "I miss you to." I answered barley above wispher. "I promise no one is gonnhurt you again okay. No one will ever lay another hand on you not even Ashton... I pinky promise." He held out his pinky and I wrapped my pinky around his. He put his hand on my cheek and leaned in and kissed me. He pulled away and wrapped me in a huge hug.

"Calum?" I giggled "yes" , "Can we watch Netflix?" He groaned and got up and raced down stairs. "Hey that's not fair" I yelled while laughing. I got downstairs and walked into the kitchen and grabbed some candy,popcorn,and drinks. I walked into his living room and had my favorite movie on. "FROZEN!" I screamed like a little kid and handed him the stuff while I walked into the hall and grabbed me a blanket. I sat on the couch and cuddled up next to the side of the couch arm. "Hey, I want some cuddles." Calum was jealous over a couch arm. "Fine I guess you can get some cuddles bitchtaco." I cuddled up onto Calums side. About ten minutes in I fell asleep next to my best friend.

Monday*

I woke up in a bed and it took a moment for me to realize where I was. "Calum?" I groaned. It was 5:30 and its Monday. I got up and saw what he had picked out for me. I got up and walk into his bathroom and got dressed.

Lime green Ed sheeran crop top

Black skinny jeans

Black vans.

He didn't grab me any makeup so I walked downstairs and saw that he was already up and ready. I walked to the fridge and grabbed the milk and grabbed some Dinobites. While I was eating Calum keep staring at me. "Take a picture it will last longer." I smirked as he blushed and looked away. I put my dishes away and grabbed his phone and took a bunch of selfies on his snapchat. He got up and grabbed his keys. "Come on loser its time for school." I cringed at the thought of going back to that hell hole.

*at the school*

I got out of his car and walked across the parking lot I saw Michael Stand at the door. I ran up to him and hugged him. "Hey there hottie." I just giggled and Calum walked up beside me. Michael tensed up and protectively put his arm around me. "Chill bro. Me and her are friends now I saved her last night." Michael looked at me and grabbed my arm and pulled me away from him. "What happen? Was it your d-" I cut him off and went into the story but leaving out the Calum kissing me and falling asleep on him part. Michael justed walked off into the school. I hurried up and ran inside.

*skipping to lunch*

I grabbed my food and was walking to the doors to go outside until I heard someone saying my name. I looked over and it was a group of people pointing at me and laughing. One of the girls were looking straight at my wrist and I realized they were talking about my cuts. I ran out the doors and threw my food away. I sat on the steps listening to my music singing A Drop in the Ocean.

Someone tapped my shoulder and realized it was Emma and Andria. "Omg you sing amazing." Andria squealed. Emma was just nodding her head. "I'm having a party this weekend you should come." Emma handed me a invitation. The two girls walked off talking about some hot boy. The bell rang announcing lunch was over. I got up and walked to my locker grabbing my pennyboard that has been in there forever. I walked out of the school and rode to Calums house.

I saw Calums car and smiled. I walked inside and heard singing. I wish I could wake up with Amnisea
And forget the stupied little things.

I knocked on his door and saw him jump. "What are you doing here?" I looked up shocked and realized Luke, Ashton, and Michael were with him. "I couldn't stand school.  People were making fun of me..." Calum frowned and yelled at me. "GET OUT OF HERE!" I cringed and tears swelled in my eyes. "Okay fine." I said barley above a wispher. I ran down the stairs and grabbed my pennyboard and road down the road for 45 minutes stopping at the cemetery. I hoped off my pennyboard and walked to my moms grave. I sat at her grave and cried for what felt like hours until I heard a car door slam behind me.
