(another time skip because your girl is lazy)

It was the morning of our game against Italy. Everyone was super pumped about it including me. Coach surprised the team with a breakfast at a place down town. We took the bus there and I sat next to Dwayne. Julie sat next to Dean, which made me scowl.

"Hey cowgirl what's wrong?" Dwayne must have noticed my face.

"Oh it's nothing Dwayne," I said.

"Sure don't look like nothing" He asked again. I wasn't in the mood to talk to him about this. I hardly knew the guy after all. Before I could answer, the bus pulled up to the restaurant. We all walked in and there were only tables of six to sit at. Connie, Guy, Julie and Dean ran straight for the table in the back so the whole team followed them over. Ken, Goldie, Dwayne, Luis, Averman, Jesse grabbed a table next to them.

"Hey Liz come sit with us!" Julie called over to me. I nodded and dragged Adam along so I wouldn't be alone with them. I spotted my brother going to sit at the other table but I stopped him.

"Hey Charlie! Come sit with us over here!" I yelled out. He came striding over to the table with an annoyed look on his face.

"Why do you want to sit with me Liza? I was gonna go sit next to Jesse," He rolled his eyes. Typical Conway.

"Because i'm your sister and we- I mean a I love you and want to sit with my brother?" I gave Adam a wink and sat down next to Guy. It was Dean, Guy and I on one side of the table with Connie at the head. The other side was Charlie, Adam and Julie. I couldn't take my eyes off of Julie. She was wearing a purple top and red pants with braids in her hair. I saw Adam looking at me from the corner of my eyes. He looked very tight over there. I guess he didn't want to sit too close to my brother. I didn't blame him.

"And what would you like to drink miss?" The waitress asked me. I was too busy staring that I didn't notice she was standing there.

"Oh just a water thank you," I replied. Julie giggled which made me blush and Adam roll his eyes. The table was silent except for Connie and Guy who were having a whole separate conversation. I could hear Averman trying to convince Jesse that tomatoes were intact fruits. I decided to get the conversation going a bit.

"So Charlie," I started. Adam gave me a stare right in the eye. I ignored him.

"Uh yeah?" He replied sarcastically.

"Jeez don't sound too excited to talk to your sister. Anyways what have you been up to?" I asked casually. Maybe I could get something out of him. I could hear Guy say something about Boy Meets World. Pretty good show I have to say.

"Uh Charlie what's your favorite movie?" I asked while glancing at Connie and Guy to figure out what they were going to say next.

"Liz..." Adam said sternly.

"What Adam? Cant I ask my brother a question? Go ahead what's your favorite, Char?"

"Oh I don't know there are so many good movies. Oh my god! Remember we watched that one a couple months ago? What was it called?" I knew exactly what it was. I was just trying to see if he would say it.

"Oh well I don't know," Charlie began. "We watch so many movies together it's hard to keep track," He lied.

"Look Liz he doesn't have to tell you if he doesn't want to!" Adam stood up for him.

"Oh well I was just trying to ask a question," I said taking a sip of my water.

"Thanks Banksie!" I heard Charlie whisper to Adam. Adam's face was redder than Averman's hair. He leaned in so that none of us could hear him. Little did he know I had good hearing.

"Okay we have 3 pancakes, 3 eggs and one oatmeal for you!" The waitress interrupted the moment and shoved a plate in front of Adam. He picked up the fork and looked at me, raising his brows. I acted quick.

"Hey Adam, here's some water you look a little red," I handed him my half-drunken water. Everyone, including Charlie, turned to look at him. He looked me right in the eyes and took the water. I could see Julie and Dean laughing it up over there with Guy and Connie. That should be me, I thought. I shoved a piece of pancake in my mouth while staring evilly at Dean. This was his fault.

"Uh sis, you alright?" I snapped out of it hearing Charlie's voice.

"Me? I'm fine why wouldn't I be fine?" I replied. "I'm gonna go to the bathroom be right back," I walked in Deans direction and gave him a quick death stare before heading into the bathroom. I washed my face and took some deep breathes. Embarrassing my brother and best friend was fun but tiring.

While I was walking out of the bathroom, Charlie was walking in. We bumped heads and I almost fell.

"Watch where your going!" I blurted. "Oh my god , sorry Charlie!" I didn't realize it was him at first.

"What we're you doing back there? Trying to embarrass me in front of Adam...and everyone else," He sort of whisper-yelled.

"No I was just trying to make small talk. I didn't know you were embarrassed by a movie, Charlie," I defended myself. I was just trying to get Adam in  with my brother but I wasn't going to let him know that.

"Well you do know I can talk for myself. I don't need you to talk for me!" he raised his voice at me.

"Yeah but I was just- forget it i'm going for a walk," I left him there and walked straight passed Julie and Dean. I walked up to the other table to Averman.

"Hey Averman, where did Coach go?" i asked.

"Oh he went out on an errand. He said it was important," He said.

"Oh well when he gets back tell him I took a walk back to the dorms. It's not that far," Averman looked concerned but he agreed anyway. I made sure no one was looking and I pushed myself  out the door.
