-George-
I woke up to find someone laying next to me. He was turned around, holding my teddy bear! I grabbed the bear and jumped out of my bed. Then came around to the other side, looking at the boy, he was wearing a yellow shirt and he had dark blonde hair, pretty grey wings on his back and a tail wrapped around his body, also two black horns sticking out of his head. He opened glowing really dark red eyes

"Thanks for sharing the bed with me George!" Then I remembered, it was Dream, the kid from my closet. Mommy came into the room

"George you're up early! Go get your clothes on, it's time to go to school!" She closed the door and I looked at Dream.

"Why can't she see you?" I asked and he shrugged.

"I guess you're special." He said smiling, I smiled too.

"Thanks, I guess." I replied

"Well imma go back to the closet until nighttime. Bye bye George!"

"Buh bye Dream."

——-

"Someone lives in my closet!" I boasted once I got to school. My friend James looked at me, combing a finger through his brown hair.

"Oh my gosh are you being haunted by a demon?" He asked

"What?"

"A demon! They have horns and a tail, their eyes are red! They live in the closet!" I shuddered

"Are they bad?" I asked

"Yes. Really bad and mean! They try to kill you!" I thought about the soft happy look on Dream's face

"Yeah.. Bad things." I said and walked away, thinking.

———-

When I got home I opened the closet, Dream was playing with my old toys.

"Hi George!" He said happily as I looked at him.

"Hey Dream. My friend at school says demons kill people, and I feel like you're a demon because that's what you look like, would you kill me?" I asked

"No! Never! Yeah I am a demon, but I would never hurt you! Others might... I WILL NEVER! I like to call myself a dreamon so I'm not one of them, get it my name Dream and demon together?" I giggled

"Thanks Dream the dreamon! I won't hurt you either!"

What an empty promise, such fools we were.
