"Mum! I think I have everything packed. Is there anything else?" Mum stuck her head out of my old room."I found this bear." She said. A memory of a kid wearing a yellow sweatshirt flashed in my brain but I shook it off, probably a school friend. I took the bear,
"I guess I'll keep it." I muttered
"Okay mushroom, have a good time at college, keep your apartment clean!" I kissed her cheek
"I will mama. Love you bye!" With that I stepped out the door, my last stuff was in my car and I put the bear onto the passenger seat. Turning the keys and backing out of the driveway. Soon I got to my apartment, my apartment was practically packed except the bag I had to carry in, and the teddy bear.
I refused to make eye contact with anyone as I held the bear in front of me while I walked up to my place.
Soon I threw my bag down by my bed, we had been moving me into the apartment for about a week, and it seemed to be enough time, it looked like I had been living here for months. I tossed the bear on my couch and sat down grabbing the tv remote.
I flipped through the channels before landing on a news channel. Then I heard a knock that the door. I got up and opened it
"Hey! I'm Nick but I prefer Sapnap! My room is right across from yours, and uh I saw you move in, I was hoping to be friends." I smiled
"Sure! Come in if you want." Sapnap looked nice enough, if he wasn't, I mean I could just kick him out.
He stayed all afternoon, occasionally commenting about the bear until I shoved it onto my bed in my room, closing the door. After he left I yawned, I hadn't really had friends since grade school, but it was cool. He was a year younger than me, but I could tell we would be close.
Yay Sapnap!
