I looked at him holding tofu. He stared at me for a few seconds before I caught his attention with a quick wave in front of his face.

"Oh! I'm sorry. My name is Aether and this is Paimon." He said before awkwardly scratching the back of his head.

"M-my name is Y/N." Goddammit, that stutter did it for me, didn't it? "What was your question...?" Anxiety arose in my feelings and bad thoughts were slowly making their way to my head.

I gulped and awaited his reply, Paimon just stared at me.

She looked confused, and I couldn't figure out why.

"Have you happened to see anyone like me? She looks like me... she's my sister." Aether said.

I could already tell that something must've happened.

"No... I haven't. I'm terribly sorry—would you like me to cook you something?" I said.

That's when Paimon's face suddenly looked shocked as if a lightbulb had gone off in her head.

"Wait! Are you that—like, super famous cook everyone around Mondstadt is talking about?!" She said.

I felt a little alarmed. 'Famous...?'.

"I wouldn't say famous... Could you be talking about Xiangling?" I replied nervously.

"Paimon is sure of it!! You're part of the duo! 'The Cooking Twins', aren't you?" Paimon said as she floated around me, trying to get a good look at me.

"We'll... I guess you could say that?" I said, my E/C eyes following her.

Aether then grabbed Paimon and stopped her from floating around me. "I am so sorry... she listens in on conversations. And I guess she happened to hear the one about you, haha.." The blonde sounded like a dad trying to explain his daughter weird behaviour.

I waved my S/C hand in a dismissal manner.

"No, no! It's a-okay. I guess word gets around quick. Would you still like something to eat?" I said, smiling.

Paimon was practically drooling, Aether looked at her and sighed. "If it's alright with you... that would be lovely thank you."

"Alrighty... any preferences?"
