After Jackson ran offThomas POV
I run after my twin to the basement. Walking downstairs I can already hear his fists making contact with the punching bag. I make my way over to him.
" Jack, come on stop it. This won't help Ash.", I softly call out to him.
I know that he heard me because his shoulders twitched, but it doesn't look like he will stop any time soon, still hitting the bag with full force.
"Jack.", I call out to him again.
It is late and my patience is running real low right now, because he is so damn stubborn. After a few attempts to make him stop I finally loose my cool.
"Jackson Young that is ENOUGH!", I yell at him. His movements stop immediately.
I hardly ever yell but when I do everyone knows it's serious. His arms are now loosely hanging at his sides, head directed to the ground and his back still facing me.
I see his shoulders shake and know exactly what is coming. He sinks to the ground, his knees hitting the floor.
It's quiet at first but then you can hear him full on sobbing. I walk up to him and sit down in front of him wrapping my arms around his shaking body.
At first he doesn't hug me back but after a few seconds he raises his arms and wraps them around me. His hands hold tightly onto my shirt. I just hold him as his cries echo trough the basement.
Jack was always the most emotional out of all of us.
When Ash was born we were still pretty young but Jackson was ecstatic.
He was ready to be the best big brother.
We clearly don't remember everything since we were so young but Mom and Dad told us that Jackson would always want to hold Ash.He was too weak to carry him but he would sit on the couch with Ash in his lap, making funny faces or talking to him.
Apparently he would always cry when he couldn't be with Ash.
Jack always said that he would be alone and that he had to keep Ash company as his big brother.
So he slept in his room and took him everywhere he could.
As the years flew by Jackson was still pretty attached to Ash but now it was a bit different.
Since we are only two years apart we three were always pretty close. But Jackson and Ash always had a different bond.
Jack would always tease him wether it was taking his toys or stealing his food.
To outsiders it must have looked like they didn't get along. But it was the complete opposite.
If you looked closely you could see that Jake always held himself back, stopping when he knew it was enough.
He was always the first wanting to treat Ash's injuries and comfort him when he was sad.
They always had a special bond and even though Ash would never admit it, I know that he secretly loves their teasing dynamic.
Jack's cries died down and now he was just taking deep breaths trying to calm himself down.
I stop hugging him and let my arms fall to my sides.
I chuckle quietly.
"You were always a crybaby", I tell him in a soft tone.
