A few weeks laterThe past few weeks were pretty boring.
The swelling on my face took about two weeks to heal but my rip took almost five. So this past month I had to take is easy.
Now my body is completely healed and I was ready to embrace my newly gained freedom but no.
My stupid brother had to destroy my hopes, telling me that we would be going to some stupid mafia ball.
"It's important for you to meet our alliances and the competition, Ash.", I recall David's words in my head.
I would rather spend time with my friends than talk to old wrinkly mafia bosses.
Like what would I even talk with them about..? The weather?
I eventually had to accept that there was no way around. So here we are, on a Friday afternoon driving to the mall to buy outfits for tomorrow. I guess getting new clothes is the only good thing about this stupid ball.
But oh boy, was I wrong.
I am looking out of the car window sighing for the probably hundredth time.
David looks at me through the rear view mirror, "Could you stop that, Ash? What are you five?".
"No, but I'd rather do something fun with Nick and Ty than go shopping with you guys", I reply giving him an annoyed look.
"You always complain about wanting to be more involved in our Business.
So, there you have it.", David says still looking at me."The twins have to come to these events too and I never heard them complain".
"Yes because it means free booze.", Tom whispers to me, chuckling.
Jake and me both laugh at this comment.
"I will just pretend like I didn't hear that right now. None of you will drink alcohol. Especially you Ash.", David tells us.
I just huff and look out of the window again.
The rest of the drive was pretty uneventful. As if we arrive at the mall, it's super loud and crowed, instantly making me uncomfortable.
People walking extremely slow and no way around. In addition to that, strangers shoulders touching your own, I just hate it.
Seeing my discomfort Cole walks before and Jackson behind me kind of shielding me from the other people.
We enter a shop for formal clothing and start looking around individually.
"What to wear?..Mhmmmm.", I think to myself looking at the different options.
My eyes fall onto a white blouse and coral coloured suit pants.
"That looks cute.", I say to myself grabbing both items and going to one of the changing rooms. I put on the clothes and look at myself in the mirror.
"Damn, my ass looks good in this. Maybe with a cute liner and gloss", I voice out my thoughts imagining my whole look.
I'm pretty open with my style.
Sometimes more masculine, other times more feminine while experimenting with light make up because I only know the basics.I don't care if some people think that it's weird that a rather muscular boy like me wears make up sometimes.
I'm not trying to impress anyone but myself. Happy with my clothing choice, I exit the changing room and wait for my brothers at the check out.
David pays for all of our clothes and we drive back home.
The next day
"Ash we need to go soon.", Cole yells from downstairs.
