Daxton finally reached Aero. Aero was beating on the killer pig until she finally reached the bottom. Daxton stabbed it and kicked it off. Aero groaned and stood. "Why do you keep getting hurt?" Daxton asked helping her up. Aero grumbled. They looked up the hill to see nothing. "They'll be alright. Let's find shelter for now." Daxton said. Aero sighed and nodded. They walked over to an abandoned beaver dam. They went in and sat down. Aero took off her arm protector to see it had done it's job, but it was bruised where the metal was crushed against the skin. Daxton pulled out his canteen and washed it before rapping it carefully. "This sucks." Aero said as she shivered. She sneezed. "Maybe you should take of the cold, wet armor." Daxton suggested. Aero sent him a look, but took it off anyways. She set it aside and sat in her dry t-shirt, damp pants, and shoes. Daxton took off his wet jacket and let his wings out. Aero eyed him before leaning her head back. She reached in a pocket and pulled out a rock. "What's that?" Daxton asked. Aero put the rock down and tapped it. Suddenly a fire appeared. "Woah! What are you doing?" Daxton said shocked. Aero rolled her eyes. "This is a special fire rock. It won't burn anything around it. I only use it in emergencies." Aero told him. Daxton looked at her in surprise. Daxton noticed light around Aero's neck. "Hey is that a necklace?" Aero looked down. "This?" Aero smiled fondly. It was a rock that was yellow. "This was given to me by my parents the day I was born. Jet has one identical to it although it's black." Aero told him looking at it. "Jet told me that it's supposed to keep our family together no matter the distance or even if we died. Both my parent's had one. It's buried with them." Aero said holding it in her palm. Daxton smiled. Aero rubbed at her arms slightly. "You cold?" Daxton scoffed. Aero rolled her eyes. "I'm a dragon, Peter Pan. I am rarely cold." After she said that she sneezed. Daxton chuckled. "You don't have to put on a tough face. Just say you're cold, and maybe I'll teach you to how to get warm." Daxton told her. Aero looked away in embarrassment. "Fine...I'm cold." Aero grumbled. She was suddenly lifted up and into Daxton's arms. Aero froze instantly. "Warmer yet?" Aero's face turned dark red. "Well I didn't realize I had that kind of effect on you." Daxton chuckled. Aero stuttered, "Don't be an idiot!" Daxton threw his head back in laughter. Aero grunted at that, but leaned into him. "If you can't beat them, join them." Aero said resting her head on his shoulder. Daxton smiled down at her. Aero took his hand and started to examine it. "What are you doing?" Daxton asked with a smirk. "I once had my palm read by a friend. She said I would have 4 kids because of some lines on my hands. So apparently we're going to have the same amount of kids." Aero said pointing to his hand. Daxton rolled his eyes. "Hey I am just passing the time." Aero said giving him his hand back. Daxton pulled out a ring. "What's that?" Aero asked curiously. "It was my mothers." Daxton said handing it to Aero. "You shared with me the story behind your necklace. I think it's only fair." Daxton told her. "You know you don't have to." Aero said looking back at him. Daxton was growing a soft spot for her gold eyes. "Uncle always said that the more I share my problems the better it'll be for me. And...I trust you." Daxton told her. Aero smiled at him. "I'm glad." Aero told him truthfully. She admired the ring with a beautiful leave pattern. "It was my mother's betrothal ring. My father gave it to her when they were young. Promised her they would some day get married. And they did." Daxton explained with a soft smile. "That is surprisingly sweet. Considering you're telling the stories." Aero told him. "What's that supposed to mean?" Daxton asked defensively. "That you have no romantic bone in your body." Aero told him with a laugh that was infectious and he soon followed after. "Don't be such a hypocrite." Daxton nudged her. "I never said I had one." Aero countered nudging him back. Daxton smiled at her. Aero rested her head in the crook of his neck. "Go ahead and sleep. I'll keep watch." Daxton told her. Aero nodded as she closed her eyes.

Echo stared at the fire Circo was keeping alive. They couldn't go on. Not without the two or Arica. Circo noticed Echo was distressed and deeply saddened. "What is it Echo?" Circo asked quietly. Echo glanced at him. "I just keep wondering if all of them are alright. I couldn't bare it if something were to happen to them." Echo said worriedly. Her voice tense. Circo reached and grabbed her hand. "You are amazingly loyal...but don't let this loyalty be your demise. Rest easy...so you can be more help for them." Circo told her. Their eyes met. Circo put a hand on her cheek and gazed at her. Echo felt her heart racing. She leaned as he did and their lips met softly. It was soft and they were testing these newfound feelings. They pulled apart and Echo started to laugh. "Well that's not the reaction I was hoping for." Echo kissed him on the cheek. "Thank you." Echo told him truthfully. "For what?" Circo asked. "For lecturing me." Echo chuckled. Circo followed after. "Get some rest." Circo told her. Echo nodded and rested her head on his shoulder. "I promise we'll find them soon."

Daxton awoke to warmth shining on his face. He felt an absence in his arms and he looked around to see Aero missing. He stood in a frenzy. "Woah! Easy!" Aero walked in with fish in hand. "Woke up and you were sleeping. So I decided to get some breakfast." Aero said pulling out another fire rock. She stabbed the fishes with a stick she cleaned and carved. She set the fish in a upward position to roast them. Daxton watched. Aero had stuck her broken arm protector in a pack, she was wearing her armor, but she didn't look as tough the more he got to know her. She had her soft spots, but it was rare to see them. Aero wasn't hard to figure out. She protected what she cared about it and she did it in anyway she could. Aero leaned back after she set the three fish down. She snuck a glance at Daxton who was admiring the fire. She felt like she has known Daxton forever now and it's only been days. She entrusted him with one of her deepest secrets yesterday. Only Jet, Claire, and Argon knew about her necklace. But she felt safe in his arms. Not that she would ever admit it. She felt safe in her armor, but just as safe in his arms which was weird. "So tell me more about your brother...Jet?" Daxton spoke up. She looked at him in surprise. She turned back to the fire. "Well he's our leader. I've looked up to him for as long as I can remember. He is strict, but he only smiles when it comes to me or Clarity." Daxton raised his eyebrow at the new name. "Clarity is my brother's unofficial girlfriend." Aero briefly explained. "She is beautiful and my brother is totally whipped, but he doesn't ever ask or try. The idiot!" Aero exclaimed in frustration. Daxton laughed and Aero glared at him. "I love the way your getting passionate." Daxton complemented. Aero laughed. "Well thank you." Aero said winking at him and handing him a cooked fish. Once they ate Aero went back to her tracking mode. "We need to reunite with the rest." I say let's go up the hill and find them." Aero ordered. They started up the hill.

"Where do you think they could be?" The other two were up earlier and scavenging the bottom of the hill. "The idiots." Circo said. Echo shot up in surprise. "I bet you that they went on to meet up with the other dragons! Aero probably wants more man power for finding Kirito and now Arica, but they don't know about that." Echo whispered the last part as she looked at the ground upset. Circo took his hand in hers. "You remember what I told you yesterday?" Circo kissed her cheek. Echo nodded and gripped his hand. "Let's go." Circo said and they started to run in the direction of the dragon army. Aero yanked up a fish and fell in the water. She wrestled in the murky water and when it surrendered she slowly got out of the water angrily. Just as the other two ran by. Aero threw the moss off of her head. She turned after emptying her ear of water. "Why do I feel like I should've turned around sooner?" Aero asked looking around. She shrugged and grabbed the fish heading for the beaver dam.
