"Have a great holiday!" Daichi called behind him to the students in his class, who were bombing out of the classroom, desperate to reach the front gates and have closure on their education for the next couple of weeks.

Now, to find Suga.

They were set to leave in two weeks this Friday, and would be staying during the Saturday to celebrate his birthday and the New Year. Hopefully they would also arrive back on Sunday afternoon to wish Asahi a happy birthday. His mum had finally decided on a hotel in Minato City, near to the Shiodome. Or, rather, his younger brothers and sisters had decided on it because of the free wifi.

"Suga," Daichi called to the man who had just appeared out of the mathematics department, who turned around immediately.

"Daichi!" Suga exclaimed, running over and punching him playfully on the arm. "This trip is going to be so fun!" He grinned toothily.

"It's not for a couple of weeks," Daichi smiled sheepishly, rubbing his arm, and they began to walk home.

"Still, you haven't told me anything except that we're staying in Minato for two days. Where are we even sleeping?"

"Ah, about that..." Daichi let out a nervous laugh. "I hope you don't mind sharing a room. Hina and Sakura are in with mum, for her to supervise of course, and Sora and Reo are staying together in the next room. I said I'd pay for another room so you don't have to share with them." He smiled shyly. "Sorry though, I didn't ask if it was alright with you."

"I wouldn't mind sharing with your brothers," Suga waved his hand. "But it'll be nice to share just with you. We can stay up later and play games. How are the girls? They're starting elementary this year, right? Are their teachers impressed with them?"

"I suppose so; Hina gets along with most of the children in her class, and has loads of friends who always come over. Sakura's actually quiet at school, believe it or not."

"Really?! Sakura-chan?" Suga laughed loudly. "I never thought she could be shy!"

"Well, they both love you. They're always asking when you're next coming over. They don't really talk much around others - especially Asahi."

"I'm not surprised - compared to them, he must seem like a titan."

"Yeah," they reached the road where they separated for their own homes. "I'll see you before we leave for the trip to give you your Christmas present."

"Great, can't wait!" Suga waved and headed in the opposite direction.
Daichi turned quickly, hiding his wide smile. He couldn't wait either.

Daichi sighed quietly. Suga hadn't stopped chatting to his younger brothers and sisters for the entire journey, asking about what they were doing at school, and if they had seen any of their friends over the holidays.

This continued for around twenty minutes before they got bored and began to ask Suga about 'big school'. It was mildly annoying for Daichi, for his siblings to show such enthusiasm for Suga but not him, their own brother. It definitely wasn't a mild jealousy that Suga wasn't paying him any attention. No, Daichi wasn't that immature. He wasn't complaining, however. Every time his siblings would tell a story, Suga would reply animatedly, as if he were talking to anyone his own age.

"What are you studying at university?" Daichi's mum interrupted, to save Suga from their ravenous inquisition.

"Oh Obasan- sumimasen," Suga blurted out as he shushed Reo gently. "I'm training to be a teacher."

"What year?"

"Elementary school," he replied, a slight red tinge to his cheeks. Although many of the high school teachers in their prefecture were male, a far lower percentile taught the younger years.
