Chapter 2

Shiro didn't move a muscle, not because he's afraid of whoever was threatening him but because he wouldn't like to cause a scene in the small stall with a lot of customers. “Isn't really a brave move, don't you think?” he smiled and as the owner came towards him, Shiro was pulled violently towards the mysterious guy, the knife still pointed against his back.

“Do not try anything funny... Or he dies,” the guy growled, causing the owner to stop whatever he was doing and took a few steps back from them. “Follow me,” said the guy, taking Shiro out of the stall while the guy was gripping on the latter's shoulder.

After making sure they were alone and the stall was out of sight, Shiro was pinned against the wall. “Now, why don't you hand me all your money and nobody will get hurt?” said the guy.

Shiro scoffed and closed his eyes, almost feeling sad for the guy. “I'm not the type to bring money along with him just in case something like this happen,” after saying that, Shiro was thrown to the ground. It was painful enough to make him wince. If it wasn't because of the fight he had the previous night with a fangire, he wouldn't feel as hurt as he did at the moment.

“I... Don't try to fool me! I know you have money with you!” the guy shouted while pointing his knife in Shiro's direction. Shiro opened his eyes and looked at the guy's face before realizing something — this is the guy's first time mugging someone and it was obvious. He was desperate and his grip on the knife was getting weaker as the knife was shaking in his hand.

“First of all...” Shiro pointed at him. He was still on the ground as he thought it was a comfortable position in his state. “Tell me your name.”

The robber gulped and started to use both of his hands to hold the knife. “Stop trying to act brave!” he shouted and looked around them to make sure noone is around. “Hurry up and give me all your money or I will kill you!” but before Shiro could respond to the robber's 'threat', his life energy was sucked away by a fangire's life-sucking fangs. This alerted Shiro who immediately got on his feet and started to look around for the fangire.

“You are next, human...” the fangire revealed itself and Shiro recognized its class almost immediately.

“A beast class fangire...” Shiro mumbled and bravely marched towards the fangire while the fangire did the same. They started fighting as soon as they were in contact and it was obvious that Shiro was helpess against the fangire in human form. “Of course... I need Kiva's power to fight him...” he groaned and could barely avoid the fangire's attack. Shiro got on his feet again and runs from the fangire before calling for Kivat.

After transforming into Kiva, Shiro and the fangire started to fight again but this time, Kiva has the upper hand and the fangire was overpowered by him, almost dying from Kiva's endless attack. “You just killed the poor guy...” said Kiva with a hint of anger in his voice. “Now you must pay...” he added snd pulled one of the Fuestles from his belt.

He could've used it... But then Tatsuya and Juno arrived and Tatsuya started shooting Kiva using his Fangire Buster, catching Kiva off-guard. “Stop right there or I'll shoot you again,” said Tatsuya sternly while aiming his fangire buster towards Kiva meanwhile Juno was aiming her gun towards the fangire that was on the ground.

Kiva ignored the threat and turned to face the fangire again, about to use his final move but he took Tatsuya's words lightly and wasn't expecting him to actually shoot. Kiva looked at the two and clenched his fists, marching towards them before taking the gun away from Tatsuya and threw it away.

“What's your problem?” asked Kiva, trying to make his voice deeper than it actually is to intimidate the pair. “Are you with the fangire? Or are you against them?”
