I G A L L T A
"Rosy! Regi!!"
She sped towards the two Seraphs. How long she's been waiting for this.
Igallta L'Taiga ran, her paws patted the ground, soundlessly. She knew that she would be doomed if someone heard her, except for the two she's been waiting for. All that time and effort. Connecting. Questioning faith. Accepting the deal. Paying so many likes. All of that would go to waste if anything wrong happened.
She suspected this. She denied this. Now it's time for Igallta to test the truth. Of course, she hopes it's not true.
"Secretary L'Taiga?" one of the Seraphs called out. Regina or Regi. The lightly colored cyan one. Her darker teal colored sister, Rosemary, stood by her side.
"It's just Igallta," Igallta skidded to a stop. Her black shard crown nearly fell off her pale lavender head. "And yes, it's me."
"Alright, Iggy," Rosemary nodded, and she and Regina turned around, to lead Igallta down the streets. The streets were empty. Everyone else was at a huge party in Fera Fashions, even the guards Hawke and Vivian. Which gave Igallta the perfect opportunity...to do... this.
"Ugh, it's not Iggy. My name is Igallta." Igallta sighed. Her purple tail streamers bounced on her sleek tail. Her small wings were tucked into her back, as they were much too small to make her maintain flight.
"Sorry, Iggy," Regina made a malicious grin. Igallta sighed once more and followed. Quietly. She can distantly hear the sound of the party, far away. A cover-up.
She stalked to a huge cannon, hidden in the trees and shrubs. It looks like a party cannon, though there were no confetti pieces inside, and it was definitely much more sinister than a party cannon. "So this is what you brought me to? After all that careful planning?" Igallta was disappointed, but the two Seraphs merely shrugged. "It's all we got. And you paid us. Use it, or lose it." Rosemary said.
"Okay, then. What do I do first?" Igallta's heart was beating fast. Her onyx quills were shivering. This is her chance. The moment she's been waiting for. One crummy cannon won't ruin it.
"Put in a test subject," Regina smiled, pointing at the mouth of the cannon, deep dark like a well of silence soon to be disrupted. "See how high it goes."
"Do you have anything?"
"Nope, we did not account for that."
Igallta sighed. She took off her favorite sword from her tail. It was curved, steel and shiny, tied with purple ribbons. She put the hilt on, to avoid injuring anyone just in case and held it to Regina. "That'll do."
Regina took the sword and loaded it into the large cannon, where a few ribbons hung out. Rosemary came over to help her sister, and that's when Igallta looked up into the sky and thought about herself.
Before the Wingwatcher Invasion, Igallta would follow her colleague and best friend, Amalthea, everywhere. It was Amalthea who introduced her to Queensgard as her vice, where they would all eventually work in. Amalthea the Kirin, with her magenta NEK0 Speakers on her pink back, cat ears, was the only thing in Igallta's mind then. Igallta would research on Queen Aradia, while Amalthea would do Deliah.
"Oh, Iggy," Amalthea would say every day when Igallta arrives late to work. Amalthea was the first one to call Igallta "Iggy".
Times were okay. Until one day Supervisor Nazo told Igallta that Amalthea mysteriously vanished. From that day on, Vice Secretary Igallta L'Taiga became Secretary Igallta L'Taiga.
Secretary Igallta would do Amalthea's work, while another Vice Secretary would take her own place. On the first day of her new job, Igallta recieved Amalthea's old laptop. She opened it and found her friend's unfinished report.
