Y/n POV
It's safe to say I've been ignoring Wanda for a while now I just needed a break. It's one thing after another with us.
I can't see what good reason she would've had for not signing those papers.
She told me about the papers just after my accident, four weeks have passed by since the she should've signed.
I avoided her every day this week it's Friday and I'm skipping our tutoring session. I understand perfectly that I should've stuck around to talk things through with her but if she really had a good excuse she would've tried to contact me.
It's not like she doesn't see me almost every day, but just like I am with her, she's ignoring me.
This constat battle with us is exhausting, not to mention I'm seeing my dad and my friends for the first time since I left during summer.
I'm excited to see my dad, I've missed him like crazy and Carol and Natasha have been my closest friends all my life but the last time I saw them we were at a party and something happened.
I can't shake the feeling that this meet up might just be the slightest bit awkward but nonetheless, I miss them and I could use the distraction.
Natasha, Carol, my dad and I all agreed we'd make a little adaptation to thanksgiving.
Since in the UK we don't do thanksgiving and I missed bonfire night this year, we're going to combine the two.
We'll cook a big meal together and then we're going to set fireworks off and you know just the general stuff.
For those of you who don't know bonfire night takes place on the 5th November and it marks the day the plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament was discovered.
Gun power was found in the Houses of Parliament with the intention of assonating king James. So now we celebrate that day with bonfires and fireworks.
Thanks giving is next Thursday so everyone is coming up Wednesday and they should arrive at the airport around 11pm and then my did is going to head home Sunday and the girls are going to leave the following Wednesday.
Even though I'll be in class for the last few days, they'll have some time to go around the city themselves.
They can do all the touristy things without me given that I've already seen a lot of the city over the months I've been here.

After skipping tutoring I decided to give Cassie a call, I'm going to hang out with her and her girlfriend at the bar.
"Hey, sorry we're late just had to close up the coffee shop." Cassie apologises as I sip on the alcohol beverage in my hands.
"Don't worry about it, what do you girls want to drink?"
"Can I get a Gin and tonic." Cassie responds. "I'll have the same but lemonade instead of the tonic." Imogen says, I nod.
After catching the bartenders attention and getting the drinks for the girls we start talking.
"So anything new?" I ask.
"Not really same old same old." Cassie answers.
"I got a new job, hated working in retail so I got a job at the new restaurant opening up, it's about a block away from the coffee shop" Imogen explains.
"Oh I know where you mean, looks fancy. Congratulations."
"Anyway, anything new with you?" Imogen asks.
