On My Own (a one direction fan fiction)

Chapter 19

    Ok first off if you are reading this comment right now. I know I haven't posted in awhile and I feel like you guys will stop reading this so if you are comment you favorite color, mine is blue. It's been to long so I'll get to the story now.

    The next time I woke up I woke up to a loud crash and a lot of men screaming at each other. I looked over at Jasmine and she was trying to break free of her handcuffs.

    "Jasmine." I whispered she looked up. "What do you think is going on?"

    "I don't know but it could be the cops." she said hopefully.

    Then someone burst in but it wasn't a cop. It was five guys rushing in, the five guys of One Direction.

    "Jasmine!" Louis said when he saw is girlfriend. He rushed over to her and pressed his lips to hers.

    "Eww you guys are gross!" I pouted.

    "Awe someone is just jealous that their single." Jasmine bragged.

    "How do you know?" Niall asked.

    "We were locked in a room together for however many days so we got to know each other."

    "Well you know if your single..." Harry wiggled his eyebrows at me.

    "Make him stop." I wined.

    We've tried Liam said exasperated. Louis started to work on Jasmine's handcuffs but he didn't have the key.

    "Here." Zayn threw a keyring with three keys on it to Louis. And Louis uncuffed Jasmine when he did he kissed her again.

    "Ok I'll go ahead and wait for you to finish sucking faces before I get uncuffed." I said.

    Louis threw Harry the key ring and Niall tried to grab it but Harry walked towards me before he could. Niall seemed to get a jealous look on his face for a second, I wonder why.

    Harry reached behind me to uncuff me and ended up touching my butt. I flinched and flashbacks of that night with Derek and Zach came to my head. I breathed deeply and tried to calm down but after Harry uncuffed me I start panicking. I was panting like I had just run a mile. Niall came over and told me everything was ok but when he reached for my shoulder I slapped his hand away. Tears started falling down my face and I backed away from the guys and into a corner.

    Just then Zach came in. He was covered in bruises and cuts, blood was sleeping from a cut on his head. That's when I noticed that the guys weren't in the best shape either, not as bad as Zach but still bad, Niall still had a bandage on his shoulder that was bloody, Louis had a cut across his cheek, Liam was bruised badly, Zayn already had a black eye forming, and Harry had a swollen wrist.

    Jasmine came into the corner with me and put her hand on my back, rubbing circles. She knew why I was panicking, I told her everything, and she was trying to calm me down. The guys were trying to keep Zach from us but all I could do was watch and cry. They were probably my friends, still a bit confused about that, and all I could do was sit and watch as my ex beat them up for me.

    After awhile I decided to do something. "Stop!" I screamed, tears running down my face. I stood up and a smirk formed on Zach's face. He started to walk towards me but Niall and Harry stuck their arm out to stop him. "Let him go! If he wants me he can take me. It will keep you guys safe and I mean look at you." I gestured to them, "Let him go, please."

    They didn't move. "No." Niall said as he tightened his grip. "Ruth I'm not letting you get hurt, not after what he did to you." He snarled.

    Tears started to fall down my face. I suddenly lunged forward breaking Niall and Harry's grip on Zach. Zach grabbed me and ran. Everything happened so fast that I'm not quite sure what happened but the next thing I know I'm on the ground with Zach and Niall on top of me.

    I hear sirens in the distance and a police car pulls up. The policemen rush in and tell Zach to stand up and put his hands above his head, he obeys after slapping me across the face. The police men arrest him and put him in the police car.

    I'm curled up in a ball on the floor and Niall is laying next to me. I'm shaking from fear and sobbing. Niall sits up and pulls me up with him so I'm sitting between his legs. He wraps his arms around me. He whispers in my ear telling me it will be ok and he kissed my head. I curl up next to him for comfort and continue sobbing.

    Jasmine and Louis are hugging each other and Jasmine is crying. The paramedics rush in and one of the ladies crotches down next to me.

    "Can I take you outside?" She says placing her cold hand on my arm. I nod and stand up Niall stands up with me and walks me outside, his arm around me. "We would get you checked out too sir." she says she walks me to the ambulance and tells another paramedic to work on Niall. "Your not in to bad shape. You just have cuts on your wrist from the hand cuffs I'm assuming." she says examining my wrist. "I want you to leave these bandages on, change them once or twice a day for two weeks then you should be good." she wraps gauze around my wrist.

    When she's done she went to check out the guys. Harry had a broken wrist and Zayn had his bone badly bruised. Harry was the only one that they said had to go to the hospital and they said he would only be there for a day. I feel bad that everyone was hurt because of me and I don't know what I'm going to do. I can't go back to the dorms because I'm done with collage, I missed the graduation and their just giving me my diploma, I have nowhere to live. What am I going to do, where am I going to live?

     Dun dun dun!! I tried not to make this chapter to short but I wanted to post it because it's been a few weeks. I'm so sorry guys!! Also a little side note, I'm starting the state testing thing and so that means I may not be able to post as often because my teachers still give us homework and I don't have a study hall so I'm sorry for that. I wanted to give you guys a chapter before I started doing that though so here you go!! Thank you so much for reading my unicorns, love you bye!!
