Cloak and Dagger

"Alright do you understand the plan....Daven?" I grunted
"Yup!" Said Daven
"I'm gonna grab some gear..." I muttered
I grabbed my saber and a blaster. I then looked over and reached for a sentry gun. It immediately folded up. I loaded it into a wrist cannon. The sentry would reappear in the cannon if destroyed or out of ammuniton. The next was a pair of gloves they would let me climb surfaces. I set my sniper on the table. Last, was a sack of explosives.
I looked out the window and saw something
"Hey, Daven... I'll be back."
"Ok don't wander too far."

I walked out to the forest and found a box with my name on it.
It was from natalie...the woman who forced me to do this in the first place. Inside was a small microchip and a holopad. I put the chip in the pad and waited. I started to hear a voice...
"My name is Alpha, I am an AI."
What! this was getting seriously strange. I thought
"I  agree Alex...or should I call you lucas"
"Alex" I blurted out immediately.  " what are you here for."
"I am now your AI." said Alpha
I put the chip in my helmet and the holopad in my pocket. It was time to leave. I jumped into the ship and started the travel sequence while placing my feet on the dash of the controls.

"Hey...Alex" Daven said nervously
"Yeah" I replied
"What do you think about the lady...natalie"
I started to think. I didn't like her, but I still felt strange near her. Was it admiration, love...No. She was attractive...I just didn't know I was out of my element when speaking with her resulting in my rash decisions.
"I don't know Daven...I don't know."
Well, we're entering the orbit of  coruscant."

The ship landed at a docking bay and the hatch of the ship opened.
"We are in quadrant 4A of the underworld" chimed Alpha
"What the hell was that!" cried Daven
"An AI named Alpha" I replied
"I meant no trouble" Alpha apologized
"Alpha, could you just guard the ship and come get us when we need you to?" I chuckled
"Affirmative!" Exclaimed Alpha
We walked towards a travel station. It skyrocketed us to the top.
I climbed a tower to reach my vantage point.

"Alright, get into position Daven. Remember the bullets will stun not kill so be fast when planting the explosives." I whispered over the mic
"Got it" he replied
"I will snipe him with a stun bolt, you will jump out the window with him and then I will blow the explosives making it look like he was disintegrated by the explosion."

The whole plan was never to kill him. We had people who could keep him safe...for now. The problem was no one could know I did this and if they did we had to run from this. Anyway it was go time.
"Get ready Alpha"
"Affirmative" he replied
"Alright...GO!" I yelled
I fired a round the weapon recoiled and I felt my sniper and arm become one. The bullet ,which sailed towards his body, struck perfectly into his chest. Daven charged through grabbing the senator and crashing through the window. Suddenly on time, Alpha soared by piloting the ship catching Daven and the senator. I grabbed the charger and slammed down on the button. Part of the senate exploded and I was gone before anyone knew I was there.

Me and Daven cloaked the ship at a secrect dock in the underworld. We made our way to the Drunken Gungan. We sat at the table our senator was bound in the ship and gagged to prevent anyone finding him.

"Well.." I muttered
"What?" He said
"We technically just attacked the republic... so we're never going back to the overworld side."
"Won't they be looking for us..."
"No, I am someone else there that is who they will be looking for..."
"But we blew up part of the senate..."
"Those charges weren't even real, they were replicas designed to look and act like the real thing but without damage...nothing was done to the senate."
"Ok..." he muttered

We finished our drinks and headed out to the ship
"There is someone here" chimed Alpha
"Miss me lucas... it's  me natalie your best friend. Just poking around your ship and I found this."
She kicked the senator out from the shadows
" you lied, now kill him or I will attack the temple. You have five seconds to decide"
I grabbed my blaster and put it to the mans head...
I couldn't do this...
"No, he will not die..."
I was interrupted by a blaser fire
"I'm sorry alex or lucas whoever you are"
It was Daven...
"But I know you don't want to be a murderer and you want to save your friends. I respect that but sooner or later you have to decide what's more important."
Natalie chimed in "lucas dear, I like you I think you're adorable but you will die in this world, just listen to your friend... I will see you soon."

She vanished into the shadows as I stood next to  A body, a friend, and a bullet hole....
