Y/n works with a patient and helps them out and Y/n comes out and sees Jay come in with a coffee and Jay goes up and kisses her and hands her a coffee 

Jay: how's the first day 

Y/n: stressful and vey good 

Jay: well that's good 

Y/n smiles and drinks a bit of her coffee and looks back at Jay 

Will walks over to them and talks to Jay 

Will: Jay i just want you to know you can't be a distraction to y/n 

Jay: i am not 

Y/n: yeah hes not 

Will: i just dont want you both to lose your jobs or your relationship 

Y/n and Jay look at each other and Jay kisses Y/n and leaves and Y/n gets back to work

Y/n goes over to the firehouse and goes in and sees everyone sitting around and stares at me and looks around 

Y/n: where's Jay ?

Kelly looks down 

Kelly: he's at the hospital because he got shot at a crime scene 

Y/n: WHAT !!!!!!! 

Y/n rushes back to the hospital and runs into Will on the way 

Y/n: WHERE IS JAY !!!!!!

Will: Calm down Y/n hes in room 523 

Y/n rushes to his room and grabs a chair and sits by him seeing he was already awake 

Y/n : Jay are you okay ??

Jay: yes y/n i am fine just come here 

Y/n leans towards him and grabs her face and kisses her 

Jay: i can't wait to get home 

Y/n: how did this happen anyways 

Jay: the guy we were chasing got me alone and threatened to kill you and Will

Y/n: Jay... 

Jay:i told you y/n ... i am always gonna protect you 

Y/n tears up and holds his head against hers and kisses it 

Jay: i am okay y/n 

Y/n : good , i want you to be okay

Jay lays on the couch while Y/n is in the kitchen fixing him something to eat and brings it to him

Jay: you treat me so well and it should be the other way around me treating you so well

Y/n: no it should be equal  for the both of us

Jay: no it should be just me 

Y/n: nope now shush 

Y/n kisses Jay and he smiles
