I woke up and got ready for the day , after i had gotten ready i went downstairs and saw Jay standing there drinking coffee as Kelly had already went off to work , i went and sat on one of the bar stools that kelly has with his island

𝗝𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩

I had woken up by the sound of Kelly getting ready to leave for work , i sat up and looked at him

Me: Kelly where are you going ? 

Kelly : to work , it is almost time for you to go to work to so dont be late 

Me : alright alright 

After a while of Kelly leaving from work , i heard footsteps coming down the stairs as i look up to see Y/n had woken up and had sat on a bar stool at the island Kelly had in his apartment and i just looked at her 

𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩

Y/n: Kelly already leave for work ? 

Jay : yep 

Y/n laughs and smiles and gets a cup of coffee and sets it down and sits on the counter in front of Jay 

Jay: there are so many chairs in this apartment and you decide to sit on the counter 

Y/n: yes is there a problem with that Mr. Halstead 

Jay laughs and rolls eyes playfully 

Jay : no there's not a problem with that Mrs. Severide 

They both laugh and then Jay looks at Y/n 

Jay: its funny 

Y/n: what's funny? 

Jay : that Kelly never told me he had a sister nor that she was really pretty 

Y/n : well thank you and no one told me that a blue eyed gorgeous human would pop up in a coffee shop and that my brother ends up knowing him 

Jay: THAT WAS YOU !!!!

Y/n: yes that was me 

They both laugh and Jay gets ready and head over to the fire house and everyone stares at them like something happened between them 

Y/n: what are you all staring at ? 

Otis : looks like two people decided to have fun together 

Jay : woah me and y/n haven't done anything but talk to each other 

Otis : okayyy 

Y/n goes and gets a cup of coffee and Jay ends up right beside her after a while with his hand on her back making her jump and she laughs as she sees it was only Jay 

Y/n: Jay! you scared me 

Jay : sorry 

Y/n and Jay smile  at each other and then Kelly walks in and sits in front of them 

Kelly: so i have a question 

Jay: what ? 

Kelly : are you guys doing anything together ? 

Jay: no , i just met her and shes your sister and your my best friend, i wouldnt without your consent

Kelly : okay 

Y/n spent all night after she went home thinking about what if she never met Jay what wouldve happened
