Chapter 2- Relationship Talk

Ok so hey here's the second chapter! hope you like it! I know its extremely short! But the next one will be Longer! promise!

*Sophie's point of view

"OK, so you are telling me that you did not know these guys and you were formed into a band by The X Factor? That is just so cool Harry!" I said to him. He was telling me all the story about his rise to fame, which was incredible, though I must have looked like a total retarded girl to him. Ugh. I regret not spending more time with the girls at my school. I was just so busy spending time with Josh, and well... he wasn't exactly One Direction's number one fan. God! Idiot.

  Talking to Harry was so fun but I just had one question that I don't know why I was desperate to ask him, so I did, I mean it's not like I have something to loose, he was a popstar, we were probably never going to meet again, and I was'nt afraid to say what I thought.

"Soo.. with all this fame you should have a girlfriend right? What's her name?" Suddenly I was kind of nervous and took a risk by asking him this.. maybe he'll think I like him and want to be with him.. Wait did I? For God's Sake what I'm I talking about? I.Have.Josh. Remember that! (mental note there)

"Well... it's complicated" he said. His face completely changed, like he had just  remembered something sad, but he quickly changed it into that cute smile with dimples I had seen for more than 3 hours.

"If you don't want to talk about it it's fine" I said reassuring him, I was kind of disappointed, but it's not like I couldn't go online and google it...

"Getting back to you then" he smiled "Do YOU have a boyfriend?" he asked with a tone I hadn't hear him use before.

"Umm yes actually, his name is Josh" I said, and I don't know why I didn't want to tell him this, but come on, Josh was the greatest guy out there!

"Really?" he asked with a little bit of jealousy, but no no it couldn't be that he was jealous. Why would he be? I'm probably just imagining things, because somewhere deep in me, I want him to like me (In a friends way though) Here I am, and Harry Styles is asking if I have a boyfriend, and I act like a total mature girl and tell him the truth instead of fan girling all over his question. Way to go, Sophie.

"What? You don't believe someone would actually want to be my boyfriend do you?" I asked him playfully, trying to erase the tension that was between us just moments ago.

"Oh yes that's it I just can't believe what is like to have you bother me all day long!" he laughed, but it was kind of forced.

Suddenly, a voice interrupted our conversation, and we both stopped to hear the woman in the speakers.

"Attention passengers, we will be landing in approximately 15 minutes, please return to your seats and be ready for landing" What? we were landing already? Time had passed so fast with Harry. For some reason I felt kind of sad we were arriving, that meant I wouldn't see Harry anymore. Probably, he would forget about me in a couple of days, and I didn't want that... at all. I wanted to be her friend.

"Well, I guess I'll see you soon" Harry winked at me as he returned to his seat. I gave him a small smile and nodded.

When we landed, I took one more glance at Harry before heading to package retrieve, but I was stopped by a voice.

"Sophieeee!" Harry screamed from our gate. A couple of people stopped and stared at him, but he just ran to catch up with me.

"Hey" I said, trying to sound normal and not sad.

"And where did you think you were going?" he asked "You didn't say goodbye!" he acted offended, and I just laughed.

"Oh I forgot something" he said. He put the hoody of his jacket on once again and a pair of sunglasses, probably so that he wouldn't be recognized, and suddenly he grabbed my hand, leading to a cellphone store that was close to us. When he grabbed my hand, I felt like jumping, but I tried to act normal, before realizing where we were going.

"Harry! I told you didn't have to buy me a new one! How can I let you buy me a new cell phone? No way." I said, but he didn't listen, instead, he said:

"Sophie I'm doing this for the both of us" he said. I didn't get what he meant by that so as soon as he noticed my confused face he clarified.

"If you don't have a cellphone, how I'm I supposed to get your number" He winked at me. Oh my God. He wanted my number! He wanted to keep speaking to me, this wasn't the end!

I laughed and said "Fine, only because you wouldn't survive another day without my jokes" I teased him.

"I would die!" he said in a loud tone, but also laughed.

When we entered the store, it all passed really quick. Harry grabbed a white new iphone 5 and paid for it. Then he arranged everything so that I had my own number and everything else that I really didn't understand. I mean an iphone costs a lot of money, and he bought me one, like he was just buying candy.

"Thanks so much Harry!" I said like a little girl, I was so ashamed that he had to spend money on me, but I was also kind of flattered.

"We are not done yet!" he said, and with that he grabbed my phone and put his number in it. Then he put on the camera and said:

"Come on, the first picture" and with that, he put it as a screen saver. I smiled when I saw it, knowing that every time I check my phone, Harry will be there.

We went to pick our bags and Harry helped me carry mine until the exit gate, this was the time to say goodbye.

"You know.. I can take you to your house..." he offered me again.

"I"ll be fine, don't worry! My aunt Carol is picking me up. He didn't look convinced, but suddenly he hugged me, and I didn't hesitate to hug him back. Then he looked right into my eyes, and started to lean in, and just when I thought he was going to kiss me, he just kissed me on the cheek. It was sweet.

I think I like Harry Styles, he is down to earth and cute, I want to spend more time with him. But I have a boyfriend, but that doesn't mean I can't have guy friends!  And, he is a superstar. It will never happen, so I just need to forget it, and push apart whatever feelings I may have for him, and just move on, I'm in a new country, new city with new people. No one will know about all those horrible things that happened in California. Here, I am Sophie. A common, normal American girl.
