Unexpected love

~'we both kind of needed it though'

Today has been stressful.

I think me and Massimo are both on edge because of what happened yesterday, I mean, it's for sure understandable.

I think we need to talk about I tho. We've just kind of been avoiding it all day.

I walked out onto the deck where he was sat with some bourbon in his hand, as per usual.

I sat down next to him.

'Can we talk?' I asked

He turned and looked at me and simply nodded.

'What happened?' I said referring to yesterday

He sighed and then sat up.

'The deal didn't go well. The guy didn't want to partner with me so I lost my hotels, so...' he paused and couldn't look at me.

'Tell me Massimo.'

'I killed him.'

I was shocked but not surprised. I didn't know what to say so I just looked away.

I felt him look at me but I couldn't look at his face right now.

'I'm sorry Sophia'

'Stop it, don't apologise. You took a mans life Massimo, but I also get that your job comes with that so I'm not mad and it's none of my business.'

I stood up.

'Just know, you carry on putting yourself and me in things like this, You'll have to let me go. Those men are going to come after you and that's all on you.'

I then walked away.

Weeks have passed.

We have just been stuck on this boat, I have been so bored.

Me and Massimo are ok I guess, it's not bad between us, it's nothing.

Nothing has happened it's just weird.

I woke up and today I wanted to tan.

I went and put on a hot bikini since Massimo has shown me no attention.

I walked up to the top of the boat where he was sat looking at the ocean.

I sat down on one of the sun beds up there and laid  in the sun.

I felt his eyes on me so I looked at him. He didn't even try to hide the fact that he was staring at my body.

I just laid back down and smirked to myself.

It's been a few hours and we haven't spoke yet today.

I decided to bite the bullet and sort this out between us because I can't take it anymore.

I walked over to him.

'What are you doing? Why are we not taking.' I said.

He looked at me deeply before standing up and walking over to the couch and sitting down.

I followed.

'I was just giving you some space'

'I don't want space, I never asked for it.'

He nodded and looked down.

'I think we both kind of needed it though' he said and then looked at me again.

'Ye.... I guess.'
