Unexpected love

I woke up the next morning with a lovely headache that bounded inside my skull.

I put on some warm clothes and went downstairs.

Massimo was at work but I noticed he left a note with some aspirin next to it.

The note read: 'Take that, there's juice in the fridge. I ordered you some breakfast from a cafe, it's in the oven to keep it warm so eat and then your favourite movie is on tv. I'll be home later :)'

I smiled.

I took the aspirin with some orange juice and then got the food out of the oven and unwrapped it.

It was pancakes, sausage, egg and bacon. It looked really good.

I put it all on a plate and then onto a tray.

I fed the dog and gave her one of my sausages and then fed the fish.

I grabbed the tray and went into the living room, got a blanket and then sat on the sofa.

On tv was beauty and the beast. I smiled.

He knows me too well.

I put the movie on and enjoyed my breakfast with my favourite movie.

I was sat eating dinner with Massimo.

'Do you think we could have a house warming party this weekend?' I asked.

He looked at me and thought for a little bit.

'Yeah why not.'

I smiled. 'Really??'

He nodded.

'I have been meaning to talk to you about this for awhile but we've been busy, when do you want to start planning the wedding.' He asked me.

Honestly I didn't talk to him about it because I didn't know if he still wanted to get married. I didn't know if it was just an in the moment thing and he regretted it so that's why we haven't talked about it.

'I have no idea.'

'We could do this party and then start planning it next week.'

I nodded with a happy smile.

'Sure.'

Saturday

'Hi come on in.' I said welcoming the last of our guests into the house.

'There's drinks over there, food in the kitchen and just help yourselves.'

The party was going well and everyone was seeming to have fun.

I was a little stressed because I was so hell bent on this party going well.

I grabbed a drink and made it strong, hopefully this will settle my nerves a little.

The night was passing and nothing had gone wrong so that was good.

I noticed Massimo had been talking to this girl all night but I hadn't said anything.

I was sat on the couch and I saw her outside and she touched his arm.

Okay that's it.

I got up and walked outside and over to Massimo and linked my arm around him.

'Hey babe.' I said to him.

I turned to look at the girl. 'Why haven't you introduced me to her before.' I asked.
