I was having breakfast with my parents, who are William and Scarlet until my father started reading letters that had arrived. And there was one letter, a little bit different.

William: Look daughter, a letter for you - he speaks curiously and a little suspicious because I didn't use to receive letters.

Y/n: For me??? - I spoke a bit curiously, as my father put the scavenger bag in my hands.

Scarlet: read to us sweet

I opened it and read it aloud:

Dear Miss Y/n Walker

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find attached a list of all required books and equipment.

The school term starts on the 1st of September. We are expecting your owl by 31st July.

I was in shock, I admired the witch world, my uncle had studied at Hogwarts and told me many stories about there, the magic.

William: Oh my god Scarlet, OUR CHILD IS GOING TO STUDY AT HOGWARTS- he was very excited, my dad has always supported me in everything.

Scarlet: That's right my love - she laughed at my father's enthusiasm - Y/n, how are you feeling?

Y/n: I-I'm shocked, I've been called, I'VE BEEN CALLED, oh my God, what do I do now??? I have to get ready, pack my bags, buy my stuff, and -my father interrupts and says

William: Y/n breathe, everything is going to be alright.- that somehow comforted me.

Then I go up to my room and get my bags that were on top of my wardrobe, put a stool to reach, and start packing.

I was nervous! And deep down I knew my parents were too, they knew how fruitful my going to Hogwarts could be, but they also knew the risk, which I didn't.

I didn't know how I would be without my parents, my mother's food, and my father's jokes. I mean, living in a non-muggle world. Anyway, I was happy.

~Meanwhile in the living room~

William: Scarlet, are you all right?

Scarlet:  OH baby, I'm afraid to let her go, but I know how much she's always dreamed of going, should I let Snape know her niece will be going there?

William: It's up to you, but I think because he works there, he must know who goes in and who comes out.

Scarlet: Y/N IF YOU HAVE FINISHED STORING YOUR THINGS, COME DOWN WITH YOUR PACKAGES FOR US TO DELIVER TO THE PLACE TO BUY THE MATERIALS- she shouted for y/n to listen, she was on the second floor of the house.

I had finished packing everything, the clothes, the little bags with make-up and skincare products, the shoes, the toiletry kit, the accessories, everything, I hope I haven't forgotten anything.

I went downstairs with two bags, so I asked my father for help.

William: are you ready?

Y/n: I think so dad, I'm going to miss you all so much - I said with my eyes watering, I wanted to cry, I wasn't very good at showing my feelings, but they were my parents, for the first time I'll spend months away from them, that cry was pure.

Scarlet: Listen Y/n, be careful who you mess with at Hogwarts, as much as it is the perfect school, there are bad people in there. Don't put yourself down, you are the strongest girl that I know and I love you.

That made me raise my head and think positively.
