The music in the building was blaring, causing people wandering the neighborhood to stop and stare, wondering what in the world was going on. Of course, everyone in the complex knew what was going on-- There was a Halloween party happening, and nearly everyone from school had been invited. It was your senior year in high school, and this year's party was sponsored by none other than the literature club. You, Sayori, and Monika had been the main party planners. Natsuki showed no interest save for the food, and Yuri protested that a party would get in the way of academics, especially if it were to be as wild as planned. You didn't mind, though. Having your childhood best friend and girlfriend there to help was plenty company.
The party was a complete success. People from all over the school, from all different grades and cliques and backgrounds, had come together for an awesome night. And awesome it was-- There was music, great food thanks to Natsuki, and plenty of games to win prizes at. Those who didn't come (who were a small minority) were missing out extensively. Everyone would be talking about the party on Monday, you just knew it. Maybe advertising yourselves as party girls wasn't the best idea, but maybe it would get more members to join the club! You couldn't wait to see the smile on Monika's face when she saw new club members pouring in. Of course, you also knew that she didn't need them. She was happy with the club they'd established already, but more was always merrier.
Maneuvering around the snack table, you sauntered over to Monika with a lazy smile. "Party's going really well, hon. I'm proud of us," You greeted, kissing her cheek lovingly. She smiled sweetly in response and wrapped her arms around you, squeezing gently as she leaned into your chest.
"I'm proud too! Thank you so much for helping us out. It was great to have helping hands around, but I didn't expect you to do all this. You're a new member after all!"
You laughed softly and ruffled her hair, smiling as she puffed and smoothed it back down. "Of course I was going to help out. My girlfriend's the club leader," You pointed out.
"Yeah, yeah. You got me there. How many new members do you think this is gonna bring in? Think we'll have to get new accommodations?"
"Plenty, I'm sure. But with 5 members now, I don't think a whole other classroom will be needed for a long while."
"That's true. Do you think having more people will be better for the club?"
"I'm not sure," You admitted, glancing around the room at the other teens drunk off the music, "I'm sure some new members will be great. It just depends on the kind of people this party attracted.." You motioned over to a girl in the corner, who was sneakily stealing a shot from a flask. Sayori was already on it, marching over to the girl and ranting about how alcohol wasn't good for highschool students.
Cringing a bit, Monika nodded and grimaced, "That was what I was thinking, too.."
Shaking your head a bit, you offered a smile and grabbed her by the hands. "We don't need to think about that right now, though. This is a party, right? Don't people have fun at parties? Dance and flatter their girlfriends?"
"My beautiful Y/n, always thinking of the right things to say," Monika sighed out, smiling as though she were in a daze from your presence alone, "You seriously drive me crazy. You know that?"
You grinned down at her in response, stealing a quick kiss before pulling her out on the dance floor to get the party started. You drive me crazy too, Monika, you thought to yourself, You drive me crazy too.
