Chapter 5

The next morning

Sunoo woke up the next morning with the feeling of the bright sun shining down on him.

He turned around to see Ni-ki's sleeping figure pulling Sunoo in a big hug as his face was rather close to Sunoo's face making him blush a light pink.

He's grown a lot
He thought to himself while admiring Ni-Ki's face.

That's when Ni-ki's eyes fluttered  open to the sight of Sunoo in front of him. 

"Good morning" he said looking back at Sunoo.

"I uh- Good Morning" Sunoo said breaking the eye contact and jumped out of bed into the bathroom completely embarrassed by the situation that just occurred.

"Cute" Ni-ki mumbled to himself as he got ready was well. He wanted to take Sunoo to a near by park to talk about all that has happened.

A few minutes later Sunoo came out of the bathroom and made his way downstairs into the kitchen where he started making buggeoppang (fish bread/taiyaki).

Ni-ki made his way to the kitchen when the smell of fresh made buggeoppang was sitting ready to be eaten.

"Eat up" Sunoo said "I know it's your favourite"

Hearing this Ni-ki's heart began to race. Sunoo remembered his favourite food back when he was younger and that meant a lot.

"Thank you Foxy its so good" Ni-ki squealed jumping up and down while hugging Sunoo.

"F-Foxy..." Sunoo said as the nickname came back and hit him hard.

Ni-ki was the only one that calls him that nickname and it was a name no one else besides Niki could call him.

"Hey what's wrong? Did I say something" Ni-ki asked due to the sudden switch of behaviour from the older.

"No no, it's just... I haven't heard that nickname in such a long time". Sunoo said before breaking down

"Your the only one that calls me that" Sunoo says wiping away his tears and continued eating. 

"Awwww Foxy is sad" Ni-ki said getting yo from his seat and went to Sunoo's side of the table. 

"Will this help?" and then he started tickling the smaller boy as he let out a soft giggle which then turned into the two rolling around on the floor tackling each other. 

"NI-KI STOPPPPPP HAHAHAHA" Sunoo said now on the ground laughing while holding his stomach.

"Hey at least your smiling now"

Sunoo let out the widest smile, it was such a warm smile that brought butterflies to Ni-ki's stomach.

"H-hey I know this was all of a sudden because we just reunited and others but do you wanna come to the park with me??" Ni-ki asked "I just want to maybe- y'know unlock some childhood memories.

"I'd love that Sunshine" Sunoo replied smiling as they left their mansion to walk to the park.

The park was similar to the one they used to go to and as soon as they arrived they quickly went to the swings and just sat on them while talking about things they used to do when they were kids.

"Remember that time when you flung yourself off the swing did a flip and still landed ok" The younger asked as Sunoo just face palmed himself.

"Y-yea"

"I swear you went like 10ft off the ground"

"I was scared out of my mind tho"
