Chapter 10

"RIKI WHERE ARE YO-"

"PUT YOUR HANDS UP WHERE WE CAN SEE THEM" the officer yelled pointing his gun at Mr.Nishimura and I'm shock he put his hands up while looking at the officers in complete disbelief.

"You are arrested for attempted murder, child abuse, and illegal use of drugs and weapons"

They handcuffed Mr.Nishimura where they took him down to the police station for interviewing and a court being held the next day.

The male officer then went back up to Ni-ki's room and knocked on the door.

"Everything is ok now boys" he told them.

"Nishimura Riki I need you to come with me to the station for interviewing and Kim Sunoo I need to take you to the hospital to get everything checked and your health status checked due to being locked up for months"

The two boys just nodded and both got into the police car, hand in hand.

"Ok boys I need you Riki to escort Sunoo into the emergency room while I follow and talk to the doctors and my fellow police officers to inform your parents Mr.Kim."

Ni-ki remained silent and obeyed what the officer had to say as the doctors but Sunoo in an emergency room where they gave him a check up and blood test.

"Now Riki I need you to come with me to the police station" the officer told Ni-ki while speaking into his walkie talkie.

As they entered the station they put Ni-ki in a dark room as two new officers sat infront of him as the officer that escorted him there whispered something into the others ear and gave them a clipboard of all the evidence and notes he had taken on their way there.

"So Nishimura Riki we are going to ask you a few questions and I need you to answer them truthfully and sincere" the female officer said as the male officer took notes.

They hooked up Ni-ki to what seems to be a lie detector as the female officer looked at the computer and began asking questions.

"So is your name Nishimura Riki or so you prefer Ni-ki" she asked testing if the computer was working.

"Yes ma'am" Ni-ki responded and that was true.

"Ok now is it true that your father has been forcing you to do things such as murder"

"Yes officer" the lie detector didn't detect anything as Ni-ki looked up at the male officer who was righting more notes down as the female examined the computer.

"Did you know Sunoo was down in your basement before??"

"No officer"

Question after question Ni-ki answered truthfully.

"Where did you go after the incident?"

"I went to my in-laws place aka Sunoo's parents place to tell them about everything"

That was true until the next question came around.

"So you weren't actually unconscious when your father drugged him?" The female officer asked making Ni-ki's heart race.

"No officer"

"So you saw everything?"

"Yes officer, I was tied up"

"Why did you lie on tv?"

"Because if my father knew I told the cops he would've killed me"

All of that was true as the officers finished the interview but told him to stay inside the police station as they rung up Sunoo's parents.

About and hour later Sunoo's parents arrived and brought Ni-ki into a tight hug.

"I'm sorry you had to go through all of this" Ms.Kim said hugging Ni-ki.

"Y-Your not mad a-at me?" Ni-ki asked as they both shook their head.

"We never would be. It's not your fault you've been controlled for most of your life. We want to be the parents that would give you the love you never had. So please don't blame yourself"

Both Mr and Ms Kim went inside the police station to get interviewed by the officers and their story matched up with Ni-ki's story.

This gave them the evidence that Mr.Nishimura was indeed guilty and that the Kim's and Ni-ki will be the witnesses at the court being held the next day.

In the meantime Sunoo was being treated at the hospital. He was hooked up to some oxygen masks while trying to fix his asthma and breathing as the doctors gave him a blood test so they can find any other chemicals in his bloodstream to also use as evidence while Sunoo lie on the hospital bed thinking about his parents and Ni-ki.

About an hour of treatment his condition returned back to normal, just with some medicine daily and the help of the doctors he should be discharged within a weeks time after healing.

During the process Jungwon came to visit.

"OMG SUNOO YOUR ALIVE" He yelled and hugged Sunoo on the hospital bed.

"Wonnie" Sunoo gasped "cant... breath"

"Omg I'm so sorry, how are you feeling? You ok ? I was so scared when I heard the news. I cried all week" Jungwon cried out while holding Sunoo's hand.

"Wonnie I missed you so much" Sunoo said as he let out tears and cried with his best friend.

"I missed you too. I have been so miserable with our you, you know. I missed your positive energy and I missed your company. You were one of my best friends and I couldn't bare the thought of loosing you." Jungwon let out while still holding onto Sunoo's hand.

"It hurts seeing you in this condition" Jungwon let out another painful sob as Sunoo put both hands on his best friends and hugged him tight.

"Shhh it's ok Wonnie. I'm fine now and that's all that matters"

"You don't know how scared I was, and how happy I was after they found out you were still alive."

"I know Wonnie. I know"
