Lucifer and Amenadiel arrived back on Earth to find everyone eating dinner out by the pool and enjoying the dusk sunset. The pool sidewalk around the pool was soaked so he knew they had been enjoying themselves again and the music was blaring. They both went to the women in their lives and to talk before explaining things to their siblings. Lucifer found Chloe making notes while sitting up in bed. She had several sheets of paper around her with flowcharts and various little colored notes stuck to the comforter. Her brow furrowed in deep thought no doubt about all of this.

"Hello," he said as he entered the room and sat next to her. "There's the look that I love so much when you are figuring things out."

Chloe smiled at him and pulled him into a deep kiss.

"How did it go?"

Lucifer smiled at her and got up to look out at the stars from their bedroom. He explained what they found and Chloe could hear the pain in his voice.

"Lucifer, I am sorry," she said getting up from the bed and heading into his arms.

"I think I already knew, Chloe, but I just couldn't admit it to myself."

Chloe buried her hands in his hair and pulled him to her. Her light bringer was so full of love with that bright light that she really believed that all this hurt him more than others. He was good and he always had just wanted to be loved. She and their boys would love him enough to make up for everything that had been done to him.

"I know how much you love me, Chloe," he said kissing the top of her head. As though their children could hear them, they both kicked Chloe hard enough to be felt and Lucifer rubbed her belly and said before heading outside. "I feel you both, too."

Lucifer and Amenadiel explained what they had found to their siblings and the demons who were present. More had come down to join them and hear of the tales of their mother. Many had initially followed Michael and felt such shame that their heads hung low and they would not make eye contact with Lucifer. Pool toys were scattered all over the area around the pool so much that angels were just taking that opportunity to sit on them. Zadkiel looked quite interesting sitting on the rainbow narwhal with his staff balancing him.

"We all can be led astray, brothers and sisters. Free will and all. Let us move forward and forgive even ourselves for past mistakes."

"So it wasn't your father who manipulated you. It was your mother with the help of Michael." Linda said.

"Explains even more, doesn't it, Doctor?"

"Yes, it does, although I already had a lot of that picture from my encounters with her."

"Lucifer, how do we get father back?" Zadkiel asked.

"I don't feel him wanting to be rescued and that feels odd," Lucifer said with his eyes closed as if meditating.

And all the angels gasped in awe at the the light coming from their brother and then all of them closed their eyes to appreciate what was occurring. It was so warm, inviting and comforting that every fiber of those around him relaxed and absorbed it. Chloe could even feel their boys just still their kicking.

"He is talking to you, Luci?" asked Amenadiel as he continued to have his eyes closed.

"Not really talking but I feel him and his power," Lucifer said after a moment. He opened his eyes and the light slowly dimmed.

"Sister, perhaps we can get him a message. Are you willing to brave mum's creatures again?"

Gabriel nodded but looked unsettled since she was still recovering from the experience.
