" Good morning dad! Morning mama!" I smiled happily as I walked into the kitchen. " Morning sweetie!" My mother greeted me. " Morning hun!" My dad came over and hugged me. I hugged him back tightly. " Sleep good?" My dad ruffled my hair. I smiled, " Yeah! Did you?" My dad nodded. " Breakfasts ready!" My mom called out as she sat down some pancakes for us. " Thanks mama!" I smiled happily as we sat down to eat. We all talked as we ate.

Mom talked about the stuff she reported about yesterday and the behind-the-scenes of being a reporter. "How's the bar dad? Still missing the dojo?" I snickered. My dad sighed but smiled, " Yeah, I still miss it. But the bar is doing good!" My dad took a sip from his glass of milk. " I hope you don't have any of my baby pictures up like you had at your dojo." I stared at him. My dad looked to the side. " DAD!" I groan as my parents laugh. " But you were such a cute kid!" My mom added.

" I'll do a report on the cutest kids and out your baby photos." My mom joked. " MOM NO!" I covered my face. She laughed, "It's a joke sweetie!" She patted my shoulder. I sigh, " I don't like the chubby lil me." I muttered. " Sweetie, you still are." My mom said gently. " We all," My dad added. " Even the puppy." My dad picked up our dog. He was a little lap dog that we named Charlie. We call him chonk though. Charlie tried to go for my dad's pancake but he pulled him away, " Hey! That's my food!" My dad put him down. 

After breakfast, I washed the dishes as my mom got ready for work and my dad cleaned the counters. " So, anything going on at the bar?" I asked. My dad shrugged, " No really. There are two people that I've noticed coming in a lot. A lady with black hair and white face paint on her greyish skin. And some guy who always wears a black and red biker helmet." My dad described. " Wack," I dried my hands. " Probably in a gang or something. They aren't doing anything right?" I questioned.

My dad shook his head, " No. Thankfully. And if they dared they'll have to deal with the Brown Ninja!" My dad put his hands on his hips proudly. I laughed, " Damn right!" I throw away the paper towel I used and left to get ready for the day. I pulled on a comfortable loose dress with a thin cardigan over it. I slid on some flats and brushed my hair. " I gotta go to work honey, I'll see you later." My mom entered my bathroom and kissed my cheek. " Ok mom, I love you." " I love you too. " She left my room.

I finished brushing my hair and put on simple makeup. I felt pretty and left my room. " Hey, I'm gonna go out and meet up with some friends! I love you, dad!" I called out. I got a be safe and I love you back from my dad. I made sure I had my phone and keys and left the house. I walked out of the house happily and skipped as I made my way to a local cafe where my friend and I made plans to meet.

I opened the door and looked around. I smiled seeing them, " Hey guys!" I said happily as I walked over to the table they were sitting at. It was two tables pushed together to fit the 9 of us. I sat down next to the boy dressed in green with blond hair. Lloyd. Better known as the Green Ninja. There was then Kai and his girlfriend Skylor. Jay and Nya who are also dating. Pixal and Zane who are also dating. And then Cole who is single like me and Lloyd.

Everyone greeted me and Lloyd snapped his fingers and did little finger guns. I snickered and pulled the sunglasses down that he randomly had on his head. " Ayy, now I'm cool." He said smugly. I rolled my eyes and laughed. Lloyd gave me his menu so I could pick out what I wanted. " So, what's gonna with you guys?" I asked as I looked over the menu. " Nothing has happened since we've talked last night," Kai said and Skylor nudged him in the side harshly. " Nothing much (Y/n). Restaurants getting busier but nothing me and my employees can handle." Skylor smiled.

" Oh right! You took over your father's restaurant. Chen's Noodle House right? My dad loves the puffy potstickers from there!" I mentioned. " He ain't the only one," Nya said like she was annoyed. She drank from her water and Skylor giggled, knowing who she was referring to. I was confused but the others seemed to understand. Pixal seemed a bit confused too but Zane whispered something to her. She made a small oh and giggled.

" How bout you (Y/n)?" Skylor asked, "What's up with you recently?" I shrugged, " Meh, nothing much. My dad keeps hanging up my baby photos at his work. Again." " Yikes, I know how you feel... Kinda" Lloyd sipped from his soda. " Your parents shared baby photos?" I giggled. " More like my mom and uncle showed pictures, videos, and stuff I made." Lloyd cringed. " Yikes, ok that is worst." I pat his back. Lloyd just hummed. " Yeah, but Lloyd was such a cute lil kid!" Nya teased. Lloyd glared at her. Nya laughed. " Yes, Lloyd was a cute child." Zane agreed.

" I regret speech." Lloyd sighed. " Speaking." Pixal corrected him. " Pixal, he knows it's speaking," Cole told her. " But he said speech?" She was confused. " He says it like that to be funny," Jay informed. " Oh." She said simply. " Pixal is very formal huh," I muttered. Lloyd made an uh-huh noise. " Zane is a bit but at least he gets things. Pixal is pretty formal but she is still fun." Lloyd offered me a sip of his soda. I denied but thanked him.

A waiter came over and asked if we were ready to order. We all ordered and the menus were taken. We all talked about a bunch of different things. Pixal mentioned what her father, Cyrus Borg, was planning. Apparently, he got back the Digi Verse and had made sure nothing was in it and that he could run everything and choose what was there and not there. She said that it was in demo testing if anyone would like to try. Jay instantly said he was up for it. Lloyd shivered and declined. Cole was up for it too and so was Skylor.

Soon enough, we all got our food and I got my drink as well. I thanked the waiter and took a sip of my lemonade. We all continued to talk and eat our food. Jay feed Nya as a good boyfriend he was and Nya called him a simp. We then bullied him for a few minutes for being a simpy simp. "It's ok Jay," Lloyd started, " My dad was a simp as well" Skylor coughed, " Yeaaah, he so is." She seemed a bit awkward. " Skylor, let it be. Your dad is a bitch and telling everyone isn't your fault." I was confused about what was going on. Kai filled me in on what happened

" Jesus. Skylor excuse me for saying this but your dad sucks." I said as nicely as I could. " Meh, I know. Kinda glad he is gone but at the same time, he wasn't an awful dad. Just at the end." She ate her food. " Wait, you're saying Chen was an ok dad?" Cole was shocked. She nodded, " Yeah. He spoiled me and made me feel like a princess. He always did stuff for me even if he didn't like it." She told us. " Like what?" Kai asked. " He let you not be in chains because I liked you even though he didn't want you ya know, dating me." She booped him. He smirked and she rolled her eyes smiling. What a weird but cute couple.
