I smiled as I looked at the box in my hand. It was a cookie box which I had spent all night making because I was going to finally confess to my crush Jaemin. So I made it for him. I hope he likes it.

I had known Jaemin since middle school. He was my seatmate and my crush, but now in high school he has become more popular and more handsome while I remained as the quite and lonely, nerdy girl who was always a laughing stock for the popular kids.
I was bullied and teased for being nerdy. But I don't think I am, I just think that I am really smart that's all.

I walked into school, holding the box and smiling happily. I just hope he accepts my confession and likes me back.
I entered the classroom and sat on my seat. I planned on confessing to him during lunch as that's the only time he's free and actually in sight.
Time passed and it was now lunch. I walked outside of the classroom and saw Jaemin by his locker.
I smiled as I ran to him.
"Hi Jaemin,"I said, all giddy and happy.
"Hey?,"he said eyeing me and the box in my hand.
"Can we talk at the bleachers?,"I asked him smiling, showing him my braces.
He just sighed and nodded his head.
I held his hand and led him to the bleachers, earning some looks from girls on the way.
I let go of his hand once we reached the bleachers.
"What do you want to talk about?,"he asked in annoyance and rolled his eyes while crossing his arms.
I decided that I'll just say it without any hesitations.
"I um, I just wanted to say that I like you and I really want you to be with me, I've liked you since middle school and here, I made some cookies for you, I really hope you like them, please accept my confession,"I said as I handed the box out towards him while looking down.
He started laughing which made me confused.
"What's wrong?,"I asked looking up at him while furrowing my eyebrows.
"You actually think that I'll like a girl like you,"he said in between laughs.
I felt my heart drop when I heard him.
"I'm sorry but I don't date nerds like you,"he said causing me to tear up.
"Oh and this, I bet it tastes disgusting,"he said yanking the box out of my hand causing its items to fall out.
He just laughed and walked away leaving me standing there with tears running down my face.
I looked at the cookies on the floor and picked them up, putting them back in the box.
I walked towards the trashcan and threw it away.
I walked back into the school and saw Jaemin making fun of my confession with his friends.
I just broke down into more tears and ran away.
Present Time
I looked at Jaemin as he smirked at me.
"Well, well, if it isn't the one and only Y/N L/N,"he said as he got up and walked towards me.
"Hello Jaemin,"I said confidently, rolling my eyes.
"Well, that is not how you speak to your boss now do you?,"he asked raising his eyebrows.
"You're not my boss yet,"I said looking at him.
"Well I will be soon,"he smirked as he walked back to his seat and sat down.
"Please take a seat,"he said gesturing to the chair in front of his desk.
I sat down as I looked at him.
"File,"he said coldly as he put out his hand for me to put the file in it.
I gave him the file and he went through it with his eyebrows raised.
"Hmm, you seem to be smart enough to work at my company,"he said closing the file and putting it down.
"Yes, I actually have enough qualifications to work here at your company,"I said confident of my answer.
He nodded as he continued, "You want to work as a secretary?," he asked as he put his hands together.
I nodded my head slightly.
"You do know that it's not easy being a secretary of a man who is busy at every minute of the day, and you have to be there at every second because he will need your assistance,"he questions me as I nod.
"Yes sir, I'm aware of that,"I replied.
"Very well then,"he said as he nodded.
"I'll think about it and while I'm at it I want you to wait outside,"he said as I nodded and got up.
I waited outside for almost 30 minutes when the guy whom I spoke earlier to called me back into Jaemins office.
"Congratulations, you have got the job,"Jaemin said coldly as he looked at me with a look that could kill.
"Thank you sir,"I said as I bowed down.
"Go home, get some rest, you start tomorrow,"he said rudely as he walked out of the office leaving me alone with the other guy.
"Hi I'm Lee Jeno,"he greeted me with an adorable eye smile.
"Hello, I'm y/n l/n,"I replied bowing as he is my senior.
We both walked out of the office and he led me to my car.
"See you tomorrow y/n,"he said waving at me.
"See you Jeno,"I waved back getting into my car.
I can't believe I'm going to work for Na Jaemin, the guy who I had a crush on and the guy who hurt me.
