November 7th 1997 (evening)
George hums quietly moving boxes up stairs. The house had already started to look homey. In the past seven days they had almost filled every room in the house with furniture, now all they had to do was move small trinkets and items into the house. George was bringing a box of books up for their bookshelf.
He opened the door to their room setting down the box in front of the shelf, he sighs softly bending down to grab a few books. He the pale brunette slides the books into the shelf, humming a song quietly as he did so.
He finished putting the books away and heads down stairs for another box. He looks around smelling something, he walks into the kitchen curiously. Clay was standing in front of the stove cooking quietly. George smiles a little confused
"what's all of this..?" The brit asks curiously
"A celebratory dinner!" The blond announced with pride "We didn't have too much food but I tried my best-" he chuckles
George blinks a few times taking everything in. His confused look quickly turned into a large grin "it's perfect!" He beams "Thanks Dream" he smirks using the nickname.
The taller boy blushes, beaming idiotically "Glad you like it" he hums dishing out plates. He sets the dishes of food onto the dining room table "There" he says turning off the lights and switching on a few fake candles you could probably find at the local dollar store "candle light dinner for two"
George rolls his eyes playfully "you're so sappy" he teases sliding into his seat across from Dream.
Even though it wasn't perfect Clay made it perfect. If he was there everything was going to be okay. It would be perfect. Just perfect.
