" Smashhhhh!!!!"

The practice rock wall of the gym exploded into oblivion. A green streak of lightning shot by as Deku practiced his shoot style.

Clap. Clap. Clap.

" We'll done Midoriya!" All might cheered from the safety of the gym corner as he watched his successor.

Deku quickly landed onto the concrete floor, dusting off rocks from his costume.

" Thanks All Might!" Deku smiled a smile only cinnamon rolls can achieve.

" I'd say you're shoot style is just getting better and better," All Might complimented as his protégée walked over to him.

" Do you really think so?" Deku said.

" Yes. You are really beginning to make One for All your own now, I'm proud of you," All might said sincerely, giving Deku a fatherly pat on the back. Deku blushed, and grinned determinedly.

" I still have a lot of work to do. I'll keep working until I have full control of One for All, so I can become the greatest hero," Deku exclaimed proudly.

All might smiled. " I'll be watching you. Now, you should get back to your dorm, it's getting pretty late, I don't want you to be too tired for your classes tomorrow. Make sure to get plenty of rest!"

" I will," Deku said as he turned to leave. " Goodnight All Might—"

Blue misted swirled beneath Deku's feet.

" Midoriya!" All might yelled horrified.

A giant black hole opened under a confused Deku, whose body was clouded by the thick mist. All might rushed to his successor. He jumped headfirst to the mist. But suddenly, the mist was gone, and Deku was nowhere to be found. All might was left on the ground, with nothing.

He was gone.
