" New Hero, what's your name," The Ladybug Hero asked.

" Uh Deku," Deku said, still trying to process the absurd things he just saw. There were ladybugs, they fixed all the damage, everything was back to normal. What did he just see?

The ladybug girl and the cat hero held out their fists and egged Deku in to join them, " Pound it!" They said simultaneously. Deku was still confused.

" Master Wu didn't tell me he selected a new miraculous holder," The Ladybug hero said.

" Huh?" Deku's brain gears were crashing, he had no clue what he was doing, or half the words she was saying.

" I'm Ladybug, and this is Chat Noir," Ladybug introduced herself and her partner.

" That special move of yours, 'Shoot Style' is pretty cool. Without your help I think we'd be goners," Chat said, leaning on his staff.

" Will we see you again Deku?" Ladybug asked.

" Uh—I—uh."

Beep! Beep! Ladybug's earrings and Chat Noir's ring beeped furiously, showing one glowing dot that kept flashing.

" Oh, I guess time's up," Ladybug sighed gesturing to her earring.

" Yeah, wouldn't want to transform back here," Chat Noir said. " Your time's probably up too. Well we'll be off! I hope we work with you again!" Chat Noir shouted, swinging on his pole away from the scene.

" Yep, gotta go too! Bug out!" Ladybug exclaimed using her yo-yo to swing away.

" Uh— I'm glad I helped?" Deku said but they were already gone. What did they mean by transform back? He walked off the street to a different block and took off his bunny mask. This day had been a complete disaster. First he fell through a portal and found himself in Paris, then he got caught up in a villain fight which ended with a bunch of magical ladybugs. He was so confused about the terms the heroes used.

What's an akuma? What's a Miraculous? He walked in the streets and admired the city. There were lots of people walking around. Deku observed them. Besides that fight everything seemed——normal. But it was weird, everything seemed, too normal. Now that Deku looked, he saw no heroes patrolling the streets, or any display of quirks from any of the people. No one had any mutations. It was almost as if....

Quirks didn't exist at all.

No that couldn't be right, he was still on earth, he was in Paris. But nothing added up.

The sun had gone down and the shops closed up. The streets were thinning as people left to return to their homes and apartments. Soon Deku was the only one left. Deku had no where to stay, and he didn't have any clothes to change into. He was stuck in his hero costume for now.

Deku collapsed on a nearby bench, right next to an modeling advertisement showcasing a handsome blond boy. You'll figure this all out, Deku thought, Hopefully.
