The old guardian hurried towards the park Fluff had guided him to, quickly parking his old moped on the side of the road. He couldn't quite see anything, and he had left his cellphone at home. Scanning the park, he saw no sign of the kids. All lampposts were now switched off and it was like he could feel the wind sing through the streets of London. He walked firmly around the place, making sure they weren't there before he completely gave up. What if they had gotten lost? Or what if they had been taken?
He had been too late. Wherever they had gone was far from his reach now, and he wasn't sure what to do about it. He sat down on a bench, the same one the kids had previously been on, and crossed his arms. A quirky voice came up behind him. "Master, we should wait here for them." Fluff sat down on his left shoulder, Wayzz sitting on the right.
The turtle kwami nodded. "Yes, Master. I'm sure Hugo and Emma haven't gone far, they will return." He was trying his best not to further worry the man, but he wasn't sure if he was reassuring him or himself.

Marinette and Adrien headed down the hill rapidly, hand in hand. They noticed Alix was still there, and they instantly felt relieved to find her. If anyone could help them it was her. Marinette let go of Adrien and went to hug Alix, tears threatening to fall from her eyes again. "Oh, Alix. I'm so glad you're still here!"
The redheaded woman was utterly confused as to why Marinette was hugging her all of the sudden, but shrugged it off and patted her back. "Thanks?" They then let go from the hug.
Adrien went up to the two of them, putting his hands on Marinette's shoulder to give them both support. He felt more at ease being close to his loved ones, especially at moments such as this one. "Alix we need your help, we lost Hugo and Emma while we were all here at the picnic. Have you seen them?"
She shook her head, explaining the last time she had seen the two children had been back when they... asked for her miraculous. Marinette was now asking her if she could transform into her superhero identity to help the couple look for their kids. But she didn't respond. Instead she tapped all around herself trying to find her watch. When it wasn't in any of her clothing's pockets, she knelt down and picked up her bag, searching the inside. She was sure the pair standing in front of her could tell something was wrong. But before they could ask, she frantically put her hands on each of their shoulders. "I think I know where your kids are."
"What do you mean?" They asked in unison.
Alix moved her hands up to her face, placing them on her forehead. "I- Before, at the picnic, they asked me something. Something about the two of them wanting to use my miraculous for something. I told them no, but now I can't find my watch on me. Do you think they..."
Marinette put her hands to her mouth, shaking her head. No, her and Adrien had taught them very well not to use the Miraculous without permission. But then again, it couldn't have been a coincidence how they had disappeared all of the sudden and Alix's watch was missing. It only made sense. "Oh my gosh. A-Adrien?" She spun around and wrapped her hands around his waist, knowing he needed her embrace. He nodded softly as he buried his face in his wife's shoulder.
Alix shook her hands in front of herself, feeling guilty even though she wasn't exactly sure why. "Nonono, I'm positive that didn't happen. Here, how about we call the police and let them know Hugo and Emma are missing, okay? And then we can transform to try and find them ourselves." She watched as Marinette nodded, still in Adrien's embrace.
