In the Past... (Miraculous Ladybug)

Astro Cat and Cosmo Bug had flown away after having made sure everything was alright. Emma stared up at them in the sky until she couldn't see them anymore, and turned her attention to the previously akumatized woman. She was bent down and hugging the girl who had been talking to them. She motioned her brother to follow her as she approached the scene.

Hugo brushed his hair away from his face. Ruth was speaking to the woman, supposedly her mother. After a few minutes, the girl turned to him. "Hey. Are you two okay?"

Hugo and Emma nodded. "You?" Hugo asked.

"Yeah." She looked around. Everyone who had come down to the scene at that time of night was going back to their houses. Police cars were driving back. It was just the four of them at the park. Ruth took a deep breath. "Well, we should go now."

The woman chuckled and kissed the girl's head. "We most definitely should, you have school tomorrow." They both did seem tired.

Nobody moved for a couple of seconds. They met each other's eyes. Hugo hesitated. "Well, bye."

"Bye, it was nice to meet you." She said. "Will you two come visit London again?"

The siblings looked at each other. "Uh-" Emma said. "Maybe..?" She held her hands up.

Out of nowhere, something had hit Hugo's head. "Ouch.. What was that?" He complained. 

He turned around and saw a silver pocket watch laying on the ground. He stared at it for a good five seconds before realizing. What he had been looking for had just hit him in the head. Literally. He picked it up, mouth wide open. Emma also made the connection and jumped up in the air. This was finally it, they would get to go home and forget this ever happened.

"Wha-" Ruth began to ask. Her mother patted her head, signaling for them to go home. She nodded. "Bye, Hugo and Emma."

"Bye." They waved with soft smiles.

"Alright, Emma. Are you ready?"

They had said their goodbyes to Ruth. They had also mysteriously found Fluff, who refused to explain what happened until they were safe with their parents. Well, all that really matters is that we're safe and going home, thought Hugo. He was now transformed into Bunnix.

It was a good thing he was sure no catastrophes were happening in the present; what had happened had happened in the past too. He remembered when his parents had told him about the 'international akumatization period'. It was when the past butterfly miraculous holder would also akumatize victims in neighboring countries to France, especially the United Kingdom, Belgium, and Germany. It was supposed to be an obstacle for Ladybug and Chat Noir, but by then they had started to develop their magical power-ups.

Emma nodded.

He opened up the portal, allowing his sister to step through before himself. Kaalki came out once they were both inside. She followed Hugo as he chose the corresponding bubble. Kaalki fused her magic with Fluff's, and created the same type of portal she had done earlier.

Carefully, they both stepped through. The portal suddenly closed out of nowhere. Emma looked around, and so did her brother. "Are we home yet, Hugo?"

He didn't respond, so she checked the time on her watch. 22:37. It was already dark out where they were, so at least time wasn't messed up. "Hugo? Are we here?"

"I don't k-know!" He whisper-shouted.

"Well then, I don't know, text mom or dad!" She whisper-shouted back.
