I woke up to a sound that sounds like boys laughing. I covered my head with my old worn out pillow and tried not to scream. I got up wearing only my sports bra and some baggy shorts, going over to the window. I opened it and looked down below. Five boys were sitting on the sidewalk. Just sitting and talking. It disgusted me how much people could ignore everything around them and only think about themselves. I decided to yell at them. "Hey punks! Ya you guys, I'm three stories high, with my window shut! You guys just woke me up! You may be able to laugh freely in your own home but in here there's not much laughing so I would appreciate it if you took you rich butts around the block and stop disturbing my pea-" I was about to finish when my hair got pulled, hard, throwing me onto the floor. "How dare you speak to them like that!" Madam Rivean said.

I gasped in pain as she pulled on my hair some more. She pulled me up by my hair and pulled me over to the window. I looked down at the guys and they were all standing now. Madam Rivean pulled my hair some more and a tear rolled down my cheek. "I'm sorry gentlemen for this brats behavior, she's going to apologize and hope you forgive her." She yelled down. "Apologize." She growled in my ear. I winced in pain and she tightened her grip on my hair. "I-I'm sorry!! Y-you should be the one y-yelling at me for e-even being a-alive! P-please! F-Forgive me!" I yelled. I put more emotion into the please and forgive me than anything else. The boy with the short light brown hair and from what I could tell brown eyes took a step forward.

"We didn't take it offensive Madam, please let the young lady go, and we will forget the past five minutes." He said. Madam Rivean let me go and I ran out of my room and into the kitchen to start my chores before I did anything to make her more upset. I grabbed the broom and as she was coming down the stairs I bowed my head to keep from making eye contact. Madam Rivean grabbed my elbow tightly. "Your lucky girl," was all she said and I went back to my chores.

*10 minutes earlier*
"Can you believe that Niall accidentally painted his room pink." I said. We all started laughing. "Hey punks!" Someone yelled. We all turned around and about three stories high head hanging out of a window was a girl about 14 (pretend shes 14 in the picture) with hazel brown hair and sea green eyes. "Ya you guys, I'm three stories high, with my window shut! You guys just woke me up! You may be able to laugh freely in your own home but in here there's not much laughing so I would appreciate it if you took you rich butts around the block and stop disturbing my pea-" she said when she was roughly pulled away from the window. All of us stood up and walked a little closer when a middle aged lady shoved the girls head out the window again and made her apologize. Liam took a step forward with a shockingly calm expression. "We didn't take it offensive Madam, please let the young lady go, and we will forget the past five minutes." He said. The lady nodded and let the little girl go and slammed the window shut.

I looked at Harry with a shaky expression. That poor girl. "Lou, are you ok?" Zayn asked rubbing my shoulder. I shook my head no and ran up the steps of the large building looking at the paper on the door.

I put the number in my phone right as the limo got here. "Lou, what in the world do you think your doing?" Harry said. "Well Hazza, I think I'm going to be adopting a girl." I said and walked to the limo.

*2 days later*
Three slices of bread and a glass of milk. That's all I've eaten since that day with those boys. It's usually all I ever eat. Someone was coming to adopt today. Madam Rivean has everyone sit down in rows from age groups when someone wants to adopt. I am in the back because every time someone wants to adopt me, I either get beaten or something worse. I was in the junior section, which is ages 11-15, all the way in the back hiding behind a boy a year older than me.

There was a knock on the door and it became dead silent. I kept my head down because making eye contact was like asking them to adopt you. I could tell there was more than two people so I brought my knees closer to me keeping my head down not daring to look at them even though I was hiding behind Ian, the 15 year old.

"Lucy." Madam Rivean said. I gulped and stood up still looking down but wide eyed. I walked over to Madam Rivean. "Go get your things, these nice young men would like to adopt you." She said. I looked up and it was the five boys from the other day. I went so pail I probably looked like a ghost.

They were smiling at me. I was still wide eyed and white, when Madam Rivean pushed me over the the stair case and told me to get my stuff. I gulped and went up the stairs. I grabbed my sketch pad, my art supplies, my journal, my stuffed panda, and my quilt my mother wrapped me in. I ran my hand over the stitching. I grabbed her picture of my desk and held it close. I never knew her, but apparently she had cancer and died a few years after I was born. She have me this picture to keep of her. I remember her faintly.

I put the picture in the suit case and grabbed my two t shirts, my two pares of jeans, my underwear, my two pares of pjs and my toothbrush. It all got in one tiny bag. The bag wasn't even as big as my pillow.

I slowly went downstairs. Everyone except the boys were gone. They smiled at my but I looked down holding onto my bag as right as possible. I had a plan. I'm not going to let five teenage boys take advantage of me. Once they opened the door I flew out of there and ran as fast and I could with my bag. I was running so fast my calves were on fire. Then I felt arms go around my waist and I started screaming and kicking. "Put me down! Put me down! Help!!" I screamed. The boy with curly hair and green eyes picked me up, but when he did I dropped my bag. My eyes got wide. "My bag!!!!!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

A short boy boy with blonde hair and blue eyes picked my bag up and followed curly over here to the car. Tears were streaming down my face as I was sat on the boy with the brown hair and brown eyes lap in the middle. Curly got shotgun while, a shorter boy with a quiff of dirty blonde hair and piercing blue eyes got behind the wheel. Irish guy sat next to me while a mean looking guy sat on the opposite side.

I was beyond scared. I didn't know if I could survive with these boys. The brown haired boy, whom I am sitting on, wrapped his arms around my waist and I whimpered trying to get away. "I'm sorry honey but, I'm your seatbelt right right." He said. "I'm Liam by the way." He added. Liam smiled slightly and I relaxed slightly. At least I knew his name. "The guy on the right is Zayn, the Irish guy right here is Niall, they guy with the curly hair up front is Harry, and the one driving is Louis, your legal guardian." He said. "Well we all are your legal guardians but Louis is the main one I guess right Lou?" Liam stated. "Yep I have an extra room at my flat filled with clothes for you, but don't worry I didn't pick out anything pink, you don't look like a pink girl." Louis I guess said.

I liked Liam the best. He didn't scare me as much as the rest of them. Louis bought me which scares me, Harry grabbed me and picked me up, Niall followed Harry's lead, and zayn just looks scary. I hit my face in Liam's chest and didn't let go.

Once the car stopped everyone got out. I held onto Liam. Harry tried to touch me and I screamed. Liam picked me up and held me close since I was a petite little thing standing about 5'5. Weighing about 95 pounds. I was shaking. Liam kept on holding me while we went into the flat.

Liam kept me close to him. He felt safe, but not safe enough to trust him. Safe enough to sleep with him in the room. I closed my eyes while Liam was still holding me waiting for Louis to open the flat door. I let my brain relax and finally fell into a restless sleep.
