Sophie would be strong. She wouldn't give in to the quiet. She wouldn't let the guilt break her. She wouldn't fail. She had worked too hard to let it all fall away from her; she could never let that happen.
She was ready to fight.
She was ready to fight against the waves of guilt pounding, rushing, flowing through her consciousness. Her mind was at the breaking point. But she would fight it.
She had given up everything, and for what? To give in to the guilt? She would push back.
She wouldn't become a castaway. She was strong. She would fight.
She was a warrior.
