Bella's POV

I was known as the school's slut. I wasn't one of those booby, orange, oompa loompa sluts that hook up with any boy they lay their eyes on. I was the type that blew kisses to random boys, winked at them, and teased them. I've had boyriends before, but that all stopped after my last boyfriend cheated on me. I don't date anymore because I guess I'm just scared of heartbreak. Despite being cheated on, I had a really good life. Then my dad got a new job and we had to move to across the country. From New York to California. Today's my first day at my new school and I plan on creating my new reputation. I would act just as I did in my old school. This time, no serious relationships and no heartbreak. I can't take that kind of pain. No boyfriend, no problem. That's my motto.

I walked down the hallway filled with bickering students, my heels tapping the ground as I took each step. Everyone turned to the sound of the clicking heels, and directed their attention towards me. I smirked as I kept walking, more like strutting. The students whispered in to each other, their eyes still on me. I confidently walked to my locker and turned the dial to unlock it. My hands gripped my school books and tossed them into my empty locker. I pulled a notebook, history book, and pen out from my backpack. I messily stuffed my backpack into my locker and closed it shut while locking it. I cradled my books in my arms while my heels noisily tapped againt the cold, hard school ground. I stared ahead of me, ignoring the stares from everyone. A few feet ahead of me there a crowd of girls surrounding a locker. The girls moved away from the locker and I saw two boys stading by their lockers, checking out the girls' asses as they walked away, giggling like crazy. One of the boys had sparkling green eyes, light brown curls for hair, and two dimples on either side of his pink lips. He was wearing a white v-neck with dark jeans. His hands were stuffed in his pockets as he kept his gaze locked on the girls' asses, smirking in delight. Disgusting. The other boy had really caught my attention. He was really good looking. He had mesmerizing, deep brown eyes and long, thick eyelashes. He had jet black hair styled up into a quiff, a mohwark type of thing. One of his ears were pierced, attempting one of the 'bad boy' looks. He was wearing a leather jacket with a white v-neck underneath. He had on a pair of dark jeans and clunged to his perfect lower body. I smirked to myself. This must be the school bad boy. As I approached closer to the two boys, the bad boy looking one left his gaze on the girls and stared at me. His eyes trailed down my body, smirking at what he was looking at. I was wearing a white t shirt, with a brown braided belt that hugged my torso perfectly. I also had on a short brown skirt, that showed off my smoothe, tan legs. His eyes left my body, to meet with my eyes. As I walked past him, I winked flirtasiously and continued making my way to first period.

"Everyone, we have a new student, Bella Justice." Mr. Olly, my history teacher, introduced me. I caught the eyes of everyone boy in the class. Some boys smirked, some winked, and some drooled. I found the same two boys from earlier, sitting all the way in the back. They were smirking at me, and the curly-haired guy whispering something to the black-haired guy as he nodded and they both returned their attention towards me.

"Why don't you take a seat next to Zayn?" Mr. Olly told me. It was more of a command, rather than a question. I nodded and strutted down the aisles of desks, past the drooling boys, and to the desk to the black-haired boy, who I'm guessing is Zayn. I sat down and crossed one of my tanned legs over the other. I felt a pair of eyes burning through me, so I looked up and Zayn was staring at me.

"What?" I asked him.

"You're hot." He said to me, smirking as his eyes trailed up and down my body once again. I winked at him and he bit his lip.

The bell rang, signalling that first period was finally over. Surprisingly, that period went by fast and I actually paid attention. I made my way back to my locker and unlocked it, shoving my books inside. I felt a tap on my right shoulder. I turned my head to the girl who tapped me. She had long, straight, blonde hair that went down her back. She had a petite figure and was pretty short.

"Hi, I'm Jessica. Or Jess for short." She greeted me as she smiled.

"I'm Bella Justice." I replied.

"I'm in your history class." Jessica said, starting a conversation. "I couldn't help but see you and Zayn talking. I'm just going to warn you, he's dangerous. Stay away from him." Jessica warned me, concern taking over her voice.

"Why? What has he done that's so bad?" I asked her, determined to find out why this boy was so bad. It couldn't be that bad.

"He gets into fights, he's been suspended, he's been arrested. He's bad news. You should just stay away." She told me. I looked over her shoulder to see Zayn standing a few feet away, smirking at me. I nodded my head at Jessica, my eyes still on Zayn. She turned around to see what I was staring at and began shaking.

"L-let's go." She studdered, tugging my arm and dragging me away and towards the lunch room. "Want to sit with me and my friends for lunch?"

"Sure." I replied, shrugging and following her towards the lunch table packed with average looking boys and girls. Nothing out of the ordinary. We both sat and down and she intoduced me to her friends.

"Guys, this is Bella. She's new here."

I greeted everyone and smiled. Everyone began to introduce themselves.

"I'm James." Said a boy with light brown hair that swept over his forehead. He had light blue eyes.

"I'm Zoey." Said a girl with red, curly hair and light brown eyes.

"Nice to meet you all." I politely greeted. I can be polite sometimes. I wasn't one of those sluts that was mean to everyone.

Everyone began to have their own conversations. I looked up from my tray of food and across the cafeteria. My eyes landed on Zayn. He was sitting at a table filled with random people, including the curly-haired boy, who i had just found out was named Harry. Zayn's eyes looked up to find mine and he smirked, once again. What is wrong with him? Is smirking all he knows how to do? If he wasn't going to make the first move any time soon, then I guess I was going to have to.
