I looked around, standing silently in an empty, unrecognizable classroom. There appeared to windows; Although, beyond outside only appeared the darkened abyss. A girl with chin - length hair stood, with a red string wrapped around her neck.
"Get out of my head. Get out of my head. Get out of my head..."
She kept mumbling those words to herself as if she wasn't aware of my presence, but still recognized my existence. I reached my hand out to rescue; However, the red thread pulled her into the void before I could even touch her. I was afterwards met with a bright light smacking my face.
I covered my eyes using my hands, and realized I've only had a bad nightmare. A strange one indeed. I never recalled anything in my past that could trigger something similar. Regardless, I can't worry about it right now. I have to get ready for school.
Changing my clothes, packing my things, eating my breakfast: just doing the normal school morning routine. Many faces looked at me with interest as I waved. Some wave back, some just smiled at me, and others didn't catch my attention; Yet, I got some glimpses of students whispering in each other's ears as they looked at me. Everywhere I went, students were whispering behind closed doors. The thought of it being possibly anything, rather good or bad, made me worry about my reputation.
Even during lunch, the unfamiliar faces would still whisper my name. I began to assume that someone must have spread a bad rumor about me, until I was approached by a girl. She had sparkling blue eyes, chin - length hair, and a cute red bow sitting upon her head. She approached me without hesitation and spoke with curiosity, while holding a sheet of paper.
Sayori: "Hi! I'm Sayori. Do you have any particular interest in reading or writing?"
Y/n: "Well, I guess you could say I have an interest in (Anything you read/write)."
Sayori: "I think you would be perfect for the literature club then!"
The mysterious girl gave me a bright smile an handed me for what appeared to be an invitation to the literature club. It had a cute pink and white color palette, as well as a cute font surrounded in hearts. I looked at the logo and noticed their catchphrase,"Write your way into your heart!" So adorable! It's almost as if she made this herself.
Y/n: "I'll think about it. Where do I go in case I plan on joining?"
Sayori: "Just head off to classroom (N/n) around (T/n). By the way, I never got your name."
Y/n: "It's (Y/n)."
Sayori: "I guess I'll be off my way then. I really hope you consider joining."
Sayori walked off happy as I pondered whether joining the club is a good idea. Maybe becoming part of the club could help me learn more of what's happening around here, and figure out what people are whispering about behind my back. I finally came to the conclusion that joining the club would probably be the best action to take for now. I went to classroom (N/n) around (T/n) as Sayori told me, and was shocked at the unexpected sight in front of me.
Four girls were sitting in front of me, with not a single guy in sight. I didn't expect the entire club to be full of females; However, Sayori saw me, and acted as if everything was normal, She smiled, and lunged at me, giving me a big hug. Her smile never left her face.
Sayori: "I'm so glad you came!"
