The door swung open heavily and Rue leaned her head against the door. "Yo Jas we're leaving lock the door when you head out." A curly figure blurted through the crevice before slamming it shut.

The loud bang made Jas stir in her sleep. Her eyes opening slightly to the strong rays of sun glowing against her face. She grimaced weakly, snuggling back down into the warmth of her pillow for a second longer before her eyes suddenly snapped open. Her fully-clothed body rising from her bed. Freezing; realisation flooding over her expression.

"Shit." Jas blurted climbing out of her bed in a panic and stumbling as she reached over for her phone, unplugging it from it's charger her eyes shutting in upset as she saw the time. "No, no, no." Jas's lips quivered as her eyes landed on the numbers that made her stomach churn. Anna was waiting for her. She has offered to drop her off before she went to st. Mary's . SHE was supposed to have cheer this morning but now Jas had woken up late and even if she wasn't that bothered she knew it meant a lot to Anna.

Without thinking Jas began sprinting around her room. Rushing to her drawers pulling out the first thing she saw, before stripping everything off of her previous attire and shoving the clothes on. Before heading to the bathroom.

She had assumed Anna was still waiting outside. Which was why the guilt piled at her throat but as she hastily unlocked the door and stumbled out onto the porch letting the door shut behind her, she stopped in her mid ramble of trying to find her keys. Her eyes landing on the grey truck parked outside her house.

At first she thought she was just seeing things. Seeing Nate Jacobs but as her eyes focused she realized she wasn't imagining the bogey man in a haze from her late awakening. It was indeed real.

Scrunching her nose she looked around. Wondering if Nate had another reason as to why he was parked on the pavement in front of her house but as she looked around nothing solved her question or gave her an answer.

Slowly stepping down the steps she hesitantly made her way towards the truck, pausing when he lifted his head up looking directly at her out the window; taking a double glance when he went to look back down at his phone realising it was her. "What up." He muttered not bothering to look at her again as he resumed to his mobile.

But Jas didn't reply, her brow only furrowing in concern. 'What up?' She scoffed to herself replaying the snarky words falling from his lips and rolling her eyes until they met with his. She stilled, the blush on her cheeks spreading at she realized he'd been watching her.

"What up," Nate repeated tossing his head in acknowledgement but this time his eyes were glued to Jas's before his phone pinged and he averted his gaze back down again to the device in his hands. Only readjusting and looking back up across the passenger seat when he'd finished sending the message.
