The pregnancy

13 years earlier

It's been three months since Kankuro's birthday party. Naruto's been feeling sick. He's felt like this for weeks now with nausea every morning, shortness of breath, an increase in appetite, and soreness but hasn't dared go to the hospital yet.

Considering Sakura's one of Naruto's closest friends she would've wanted to be his doctor. She would have access to his files and it could lead to her finding out about what happened while they were drunk.

He decided to wait for Tsunade to come back to the village. Naruto wasn't worried much but Hinata was. He had just thought it was something he ate, until Tsunade checked him out and the results came back.

"It's confirmed, you're three months pregnant."
"What?!" the pair said in unison.

"Granny, are you sure?"
"Yes, you brat! I triple-checked all the results came back positive! And how dare you question me!"

"C...can you please check, just one more to be sure."
"Fine!" She yelled, walking over to the curtain Naruto was behind to take another sample.

Checking for the fourth time, Tsunade came back with the same answer as the other three times.

"Positive again."
"O...oh no!"

"Crap what are we gonna do?" asked Naruto, turning to Hinata.
"I...i don't know."

"You both need to calm down, I'll help."
"Thanks, granny!"

"Yeah Yeah, first you need somewhere to hide out."
"Maybe Karin will let us stay with her for a while."

"How are you gonna leave the village without seeming suspicious?"
"We'll just say me and Hinata wanted alone time."

"Where will the kid go when it's born?"
"W...we might be able to pass them off as our kid."

"Where will you go until you track down Karin?"
"Gaara, he knows how to keep secrets, ya know."

"It seems like you have a plan then, before you leave I'll give you a check-up and details about the pregnancy."

After Tsunade, they went home and started packing bringing things they would need for the trip, a month's worth of clothes, personal care products, and a lot of cash.

Konoha 12 met up in a park where Hinata and Naruto would tell them they were leaving.

"Why did you need us here," asked Ino, who looked ready to leave.

Naruto looked at Hinata who was staring at Sakura and decided to speak up.

"Me and Hinata are gonna leave the village for a while."
"How long are you leaving for?" asked Shino, who was getting suspicious of the whole thing.

"Uuuh-"
"We don't know yet!" stated Hinata, as she saw Naruto's struggle.

"Yeah, well gotta go a lot of packing to do!"
"Bye."

Everyone left, except for five people. Those five people were Shikamaru, Sai, Choji, Shino, and Kiba.

"Akamaru find them." With his commands, Akamaru picked up a scent and started walking in their direction while everyone followed.
