A dream

The pinkette was sitting in the forest, a book present in her hand as she lay against the tree behind her. It was quiet, save for the birds chirping and water running from a water source nearby. It was pure bliss until the silence was interrupted.

"Sakura!" Someone called in the distance.

The pink-haired teen lifted her head, looking around for the person who called her angered that the calming aura the forest had produced was ruined.

"Sakara!" The voice called again.

Looking in the direction of the voice the snarl disappeared and a smile found its way to her lips. The blond was racing his way towards her, a wide smile gracing his beautiful features.

"Hey, Naruto." She greeted him once he was close enough to hear her.

"Guess what!" He shouted his smile, seeming to grow bigger by the second.

"Wha-" Before she had a chance to finish even a single word he blurted out.

"Sasuke proposed! We're getting married! Look!" He said excitedly, pointing to a radiant flower tucked behind his ear.

"Oh kami! Really!?"

"Mhm!" The two gathered in a tight embrace both overjoyed from the wondrous event that would soon take place.

"Cha!" Inner Sakura beamed, these idiots were getting married, she could hardly believe it. Considering how long it took for them to get together, it was almost impossible for her to imagine the duet being married. She could only wonder what other surprises the universe had in store. She halted in her celebration, suddenly starting to wonder.

"Where's Sasuke?"

"He's getting the ring, Kakashi was being difficult again and wouldn't let him until today."

"Wait-doesthatmeanhe'sgivingyoutheUchiharing!" She squeaked, out so excited she couldn't speak correctly.

Uh-huh!" Naruto answered with a nod and, if humanly possible, an increase in delight.

Sakura squealed, jumping around the place and hugging the blond tightly. "We should head back to the village."

"Yeah, it is getting late," Sakura stated, letting go of Naruto in the process.

"Do you know what it looks like!"

"No, but knowing Uchihas, it'll probably look something like the clans' symbol."

"That is true, it'll probably be gold and have a big diamond."

"That sounds expensive."

"Don't worry babe, Sasuke wants to give it to you. Plus he's rich! I wanna date someone rich!"

"What about Hinata, she's rich and she has to get married so she can take over her clan."

"I've thought about it, but she still likes you," Sakura started, with a pout.

"Eh, she'll have to get over it when we tell everyone about us."

"Yeah, but it'll take time for her to get over you."

"And someone to help get over it." He said with a smirk nudging her with his arm.

"Wah, Naruto you pervert no!" She said, sporting a red face.

"Heh heh, Naruto yes!" He said running off away from the direction of the village.
