The ride home was quiet. Not awkward just quiet, I knew she was thinking deeply. I didn't want her to get in a spiral as I heard her breathing get faster.

"Here," I gave her my phone "put some music on"

She snapped her head towards me confirming my thoughts about her spiraling.

"Okay..." she said still deep in thought and slightly taken off guard

She put on a song I've never heard before, but I liked it. While I was driving I took a few glances at her singing along softly. God she's so adorable.

When I arrived I found her asleep so I carried her into my apartment. I put her under the covers on my bed and was about to walk out.

"Hey, um... could you stay?" She asked, I stood in the doorway slightly shocked from the sudden question "please?"

"Yeah of course, no problem" I got in the bed and hesitated for a second. Should I cuddle with her or do I keep my distance? I didn't want to take my chances so I asked.

"Wanna cuddle?" I asked trying to read her face. She looked up and smiled

"I'd love to" I saw her smile grew wider when I pulled her closer to my body and wrapped my arms around the little girl.

"I didn't think you were the cuddling type"

I chuckled slightly and told her

"There's a lot you won't expect from me babygirl"

She sighed deeply and after a while of stroking her hair I heard her breathing get deeper and I knew she was asleep.

Next morning I woke up to an empty bed.

Contemplating wether yesterday was real or not I went to the kitchen.

"Goodmorning!" Billie was making toast

I screamed like a little girl and tried to cover it immediately but it was to late.

Billie looked at me with a blank face and bursted out in laughter when she couldn't hold it anymore. I looked at her unimpressed and grabbed the toast she made herself.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you little girl" she said trying to calm herself a little

"Don't ever call me a little girl again" I was still eating the toast

"I'm sorry little girl did you say something?"

I looked up from my face and stared at her with an angry face

"Girl, you heard me"

"Yeah, maybe, doesn't mean I'll listen tho" she smirked

"Babygirl don't try me" I started walking towards her

"Or what?"

"Or I'll make you scream something else real soon" I smirked, with my hand slightly wrapped around her soft, tiny neck.

She was quiet

There was definitely a tension between us and it was growing every second.

I cleared my throat remembering she had a boyfriend and walked back to my toast.

She stood there for a while in shock of what just happend, then she walked back to my bedroom.

She came back out with a hoodie and jogging that looked VERY familiar

"Are those mine?"

"Yeah" she shrugged and went to the door

"You coming?" she walked out while grabbing my keys and got in the car

I chuckled that girl has no shame ,and walked after her.
