We were packing up. We bought an adorable small, two bedroom home only thirty minutes from Finnicks museum since houses closer were incredibly expensive.

It was dirt cheap. We liked that since we didn't want to spend much. Our grandparents gifted us most of their old furniture and we bought some. We also took furniture from our old rooms.

Finnicks parents and sister were with us and my parents, helping unpack.

Finnick and I made a deal that the second room would be a guest bedroom, not an office. That way we wouldn't lock ourselves in to just do work.

Finn set up an office space in the bedroom, and I set up in a nook at the front of the house, in the bay window.

I had my desk and my chair set up with my computer, and typewriter on it.

Finnick's family was coming out of the bedroom since they had to help him with carrying in his books and research papers.

They stared at how many plants I had in the bay window, hanging and on my desk too.

Katie pointed to the six boxes I had. "Do those need to go into the kitchen or your bedroom?"

I shook my head and thanked her. "No, it's okay."

She tried to help anyway.

But when she opened the first box and had wide eyes. "Are all of those boxes books?"

I blushed. "Most of them. Others are journals."

Finnick came out when I was trying to organize my books on the bookshelf I was setting up in our living room.

He turned on his heel, going back to the bedroom, knowing to not bother me when I had books.

Once our families had cleared out and there was many tears from finnicks mom, saying how grown up he was now, I stood at the book shelf.

I wondered if Finnick would notice the book I had put on the shelf that had yet to have been published.

Finn was really nervous for his first day on the job.

I knew he was.

He paced while I was in our ensuite, moisturizing my arms and hands since my skin had been dry.

I heard him pace across nearly each creaky floorboard in our bedroom, trying to decide on what clothes to wear for his big day.

I pulled my soft earth brown king cardigan around me as the draft settled in and after I pulled on some socks. It was raining so I was chilled by only wearing my off white satin bed dress that fell to my calf.

I fixed my hair in a messy bun as I shut the light off in the bathroom.

Finnick still paced, staring at the outfits he had made that were set out on our bed.

I went to my purse near my nightstand and pulled out the box I had been saving for him.

I placed the box on top of the middle outfit he had made.

He stopped pacing and looked to it with curiosity.

"You're gonna wanna open it." I told him with a smile.

He opened the box and smiled at the contents.

"You got me Dino ties?" He asked with a smile.

I nodded and shrugged. "I figured you might like them."

"Now, if you don't like them, it's okay. There's something else I got you at the bottom."

He looked to the bottom and smiled with love.
