This chapter continues on from chapter five, when Marinette got home and cried herself to sleep. The gif is what is happening now.
Marinette had been at the hospital for about half an hour but the second she talked to her mother she knew everything was going to change, especially when he walked out of the room.
Now she was on the living room couch asleep from crying all of last night. Tiki was still sleeping in between her arms. So it wasn't surprising to say the least that when Barry and Gina got to the house there was no answer.
Both adults were worried, what if something happened to the girl she was 7 and had just lost her mom and step dad. If anything happened to her it would be horrible.
Gina bent down and grabbed the spare key under the mat. They always left it there. In case Marinette wanted to go into the apartment but Sabine and Tom were busy with customers.

Both Barry and Gina were in their usual styles but Barry was nervous and making sure that he was presentable. Gina noticed him fiddling with the edge of the purple sweater.
"Stop worry, you will be fine she's your daughter not a criminal now lets go inside and make sure my little fairy ok" Gina said and Barry nodded walking into the flat.
When they entered the flat Barry looked around and saw a picture of the family and who would be his. She looked just like Sabine but had blue eyes, who had blue eyes he though.
He looked around the apartment and realised it followed a theme pink, black and grey.
