As they arrive in front of Shinpachi's house, Althea let's out a small sigh. It's been a while since she's been here. Let's just say her last visit at the Shimura residence didn't end well. Althea was seated next to Shinpachi in the back while Tae was behind the wheel.

"Althea can you help me get him out of the car?" Tae yells as she opens Shinpachi's door.

"Mhm!" Althea replied while grinning with a sinister look on her face, causing Shinpachi to quiver in his seat.

"I can ge-t... out myself.. now! Look my legs are magically moving!" Shinpachi was beyond terrified of what Althea's sinister look could mean. Last time she posted on Ig that he had a piss kink and enjoyed pissing on Gintoki after school at seven pm sharp. Tragic times for poor Shinpachi.

"Liar! The only thing that's moving are those sweat drops on your forehead." Tae answers with a half annoyed tone. She had no clue what his sudden rise of nervousness was about and worried he had a fever again, but she remembered that Shinpachi was Shinpachi so she just shrugged it off.

"Oh Shiny-kun~~"

As Shinpachi cautiously turns his head over to Althea he lets out a loud yelp as she shoves both of her index fingers right into his nostrils before he could get a full glimpse of her. Althea started to giggle maniacally softly so Shinpachi could only hear.

"What's wrong?!" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~~~ -(MafuMafu) 

"Nothing, Shinpachi just saw a wasp! You remembered how they give him ptsd." Althea swiftly explains letting out a soft giggle. She was covering Shinpachi's mouth while Tae was distracted by unfolding the wheel chair.

"Seriously Shinpachi? I thought we were over that."

"I'M NOT—..DGDHPH-" Shinpachi successfully says after escaping Althea's clutches but is stopped mid way through his sentence after Althea covers his mouth once again."

"Shut up Piss Boy.. It'll be over soon.." Althea says with a menacing tone.

"Tae!" A unknown voice behind Tae exclaims. Althea and Shinpachi stop their flirting and look over to see who it is. It was one of Tae and Shinpachi's neighbors. They needed help with serving their guests, knowing Tae is a retired hostess they ask her for her help.

"Sure but my brother just-"

"Go. Althea can take care of me." Shinpachi interrupts Tae. He was giving her a reassuring smile.

"HUH?!" Althea replies to Shinpachi's remark with rosey red cheeks.

"No way am I leaving you alone with a girl." Tae says while glaring at him.

"Uh.. w-we.. can go to a park instead!" Althea nervously says, her cheeks still red.
"Shinpachi hasn't been outside for a while so I thought it would be nice for some new scenery.."

"Yeah! Please.." Shinpachi agrees while nodding his head vigorously and conjoining his hands together. (praying hand pose pretty much)

"Fine.. but no funny business."

Althea and Shinpachi both nod in agreement.

(Time skip because it's 3 am and I don't feel like writing him getting in a wheel chair with Althea's piss kink help.)

As Althea pushes the wheel chair Shinpachi is seated on into the park, she couldn't stop thinking what Shinpachi meant by them alone in the house. Althea was deep in thought until she was brought back to reality after feeling a small impact on her forehead. The impact was from an acorn that Shinpachi threw at her forehead to get her attention.

"Earth to Althea!"

"Huh?!" Althea jerks her head up and is greeted to Shinpachi standing in front of her.

"YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE SITTING SO I CAN POUR MY PEE JAR ONTO YOU." (pretend she didn't say it.. Unless you don't want to.. :smirk:)

"Why aren't you sitting down?! Your legs are still weak!" Shinpachi wasn't listening to what she was saying, but instead was too busy focusing on Althea's eyes. Without realizing it, he cupped her cheek  and continued to stare into her eyes with a soft smile written on his lips. Althea is a INFP so she caught a glance but then quickly adverted her eyes to the floor.

"You're pretty."

"Huh?"

"Pretty."

Althea's face was beet red. She didn't know where this sudden outburst of affection was from. It wasn't like Shinpachi to act all sentimental with her, he usually would joke around with her but the sudden change of mood made her heart and head confused.

Althea pulled away from Shinpachi's warm hand and looked at the floor again with a upset expression. Shinpachi looked at her confused.

"I'm just a little.. confused right now.. I'm sorry Shin." Althea started step away from him but as she turned away, she was halted by her hand being embraced by Shinpachi's. 

"I understand that this is weird for you.. but I can't hide it anymore Althea. Ever since you poured warm apple juice down my pants back in elementary school, ever since you stood up for me against The Shinsengumi club that would randomly target The Odd Jobs club.. ever since.. you simply looked at me.. I've liked you.. ever since. So please, at least face towards me when you decline. That way I can finally let go."

As Althea faced Shinpachi his eyes widened from shock. There were tears rolling down her eyes and snot seeping from her nose into her mouth. For a moment there was just silence between the two, until Althea let it all out.

"Why do you have to tell me this now?! After everything, you just had to tell me now?!"

Althea stepped closer towards him an raised her finger against his chest almost as if she were accusing him for everything.

"You don't get a say that I can decline.. how can you be so cruel.." Althea was now squatting on the ground, cupping her face while she hid her snot covered face. Shinpachi lowers himself to her level.

"Althea?" Althea heard Shinpachi quietly say.

Althea let out a small toot. As Althea raised her head after a good two minutes, she saw Shinpachi's glasses in his hand and him rubbing his eyes with the index finger and thumb. It seemed as if he was crying. Althea stopped her wailing after seeing her best friend, no.. the person she liked.. in the state he was in front of her. As she let out a soft sniffle, she started to stare at the ground while her hand followed her heart. Before she knew it her hand was carefully placed on his cheek. Shinpachi did the same.

"I'm so-"

"Let's go somewhere."

"Where?"

"Anywhere but here."
