to our senior year

chapter 1

Hi, my name is Jade and I'm 18 years old. I go to Hollywood arts high school. I'm a senior, my best friends are Cameron, Noah, Yasmin, selecia. I have a huge crush on Cameron but I'm pretty sure he doesn't like me back which hurts lowkey but I'm a big girl. I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off. It's the last day of school for Christmas break and I and the others are going to Miami for the next week and will be back in time for Christmas. Hopefully, I can get Cameron alone to tell him I like him. Anyways I get out of bed and start getting dressed. I brush my teeth and my hair then do my makeup. I finish getting ready and I walk downstairs to find all my best friends sitting on my couch waiting for me.

J- hey guys, how'd you get in?

C- key under the mat

J- gotcha you guys ready this is our last day and then Mami here we come

C- yes I'm so excited

Everyone- same

We get into Cameron's car and I get upfront and everyone gets mad.

N- you're only up there cause your his girlfriend

J- Noah shut up I'm up here cause I got out here first

N- whatever you say

C- okay jade isn't my girlfriend yet she's my best friend

J- yet?

C- I meant she isn't my girlfriend

J- oh okay

Camerons pov

That was close I almost told jade I liked her and I want to wait till we go to Miami and I can get her alone to tell her, jade isn't like everyone else and I want to make everything special

J- after school you guys wanna go to in and out

C- yea

N- yea

S- yea

Y- yea

J- All alright it's a plan then

We arrive at school and I went to my first period which is acting skills with Mr.Sakowitz

I love his class because I wanna be an actress and his class helps. We get through my first period then we go to second and then third and then lunch and I'm standing in line for food at the food truck. I get my food and pay for it and sit down soon everyone joins me and we talk and have lots of good conversation and laughs. Cameron won't stop staring at me though and it's kinda weird but I enjoy it honestly so I don't say anything I decide to just ignore Cameron and talk to everybody else. The bell rings for our next class and I get up and throw my tray away then head to class. I'm almost to class when someone calls my name. I turn around and it's Cameron.

C- jade, wait up

J- yea cam

C- can I walk you to class

J- sure

C- you ready for Mami

J- yes so ready, my mom even gave me a credit card.

C- that's awesome, my mom and sierra had to pack for me

J- why is that

C- I suck at packing

J- that is very true

C- *laughs*

We arrive at my classroom and I tell Cameron bye and he heads to class. I walk in and sit down next to Matthew Espinosa. He's really funny but we are not friends like that.
