chapter 4

jade's pov 

it's been two weeks since Colby told me he likes me and I can't stop thinking about it, it's been eating me alive and I don't know what to do and I'm so confused.....no I like Cameron he is my boyfriend  I quickly brush the thought of Colby from my mind and focus on what the teacher is saying and I begin to take notes since It will most likely be on a test or quiz and the exams I have my headphones in I'm listening to music(i have the in-ear ones and long hair lol) and take the notes this class is boring so freaking boring, then all the sudden my phone dings my heart drops as I see Colby's name on the screen I open the message and read it. 

col- hey, how's hell?

j- horrible, I'm taking notes 

col- I don't miss that 

j- yea you're lucky 

col- indeed lol 

j- I'm telling Cameron this isn't working...

that message took me by surprise I really wasn't excepting me to type it let alone send it.

col- wait really why?

j- because I realized that I like you too and I stop thinking about you 

col- same here and really? 

j- yea really I'm telling him after school or at lunch 

the bell rings and I quickly back up send a quick reply to Colby's message and then head to lunch, I find Cameron and we get our food and sit down to eat but I don't eat much. 

j- Cameron we need to talk, I say trying not to cry 

ca- what's up 

j- a couple of weeks ago Colby told me he liked me and since then I can't stop thinking about him and it's wrong of me to date you if I'm thinking about another man and I think we need to break up 

ca- what?!

j- I'm sorry Cameron it's just I love you too much as a friend to ruin our friendship if I haven't already I say whipping a tear from my cheek. 

ca- hey don't say that I'll always be your best friend jade, your the coolest girl I know and hey I'm a little hurt but I know that Colby won't hurt you so I'm okay with this and don't worry about me I'm sure I'll find my self a really nice girl. 

j- thank you for understanding Cameron I love you so much and I'm so glad you're my best friend I couldn't have asked for a better best friend. 

ca- same here jade so go call Colby and get your manz girl 

j- I smile and get up from the table and leave Cameron by himself I get to the courtyard and see Colby standing there with roses and sunflowers I smile and run towards him once I get close enough to him I jump into his arms and he spins me around managing to still hold on to the flowers, 

j- I love you Cole Robert Brock and I'll never stop, I say kissing him 

col- I love you too Jade Marie Lopez and I'll never stop

j- Cameron took it pretty well by the way and pretty flowers thank you 

col- wow really and your welcome baby is that okay if I call you that 

j- yes and yea we're still best friends too

col- Jade Maire Lopez will you be mine forever?

j- yes Cole Robert Brock I'll be yours forever.

just then Cameron comes around the corner and hugs me I'm taken aback but I hug back 

j- what was that for Cameron?

ca- I want you to know that I love you as a friend and I'm so glad your my best friend and Colby break her heart and I'll break your face and that's a promise, not a threat, now when is the wedding. 

j- thanks Cameron 

col- I would never break her heart and I understand 

we spend the rest of lunch laughing till the bell rings and it signals to go to class except for me I after fourth period I get to go home Cause I don't need that many more credits so I sign myself out and head to Colby's car and we head to the trap house to tell everyone the good news, I told the rest of the group and they were all happy for me and I'm so grateful for. we get to the trap house and get out and head inside. 

when we walk inside everyone is sitting on the couch and when they see us they are excited to see me. 

j- we have an announcement to make

col- jade and I are 

j&c- DATING 

trap- OMG CONGRATULATIONS GUYS 

kat- what about Cameron

j- he took it surprisingly well, we're still best friends, and every one no hard feelings. 

kat- that's good I'm glad, well welcome to the trap house jade 

ja- awe thanks guys 

we hang out and laugh and talk about anything and everything under the sun and we go swimming and since today is Friday I have the entire weekend with my boyfriend and I couldn't be more grateful. 

col- babe 

j- yes 

col- I love you 

j- I love you too babe 

we order food because we're all starving and we put on sam and Colby's first video of hell week and get everything set up for when our subway, pizza hut, and mc Donalds and in and out gets here( what we were stoned). once the food arrived we set it all up and ate and watched the video around 2 am the video ended and we cleaned up our mess and put the food we didn't eat in the fridge and we all go to bed.
