chapter 2

Jade's pov

I wake up before everyone is asleep still sneak out of the room and go downstairs and into the soundproof room Cameron built for me so I can practice music without bothering my parents, when they are home that is, I being to play gone by Katrina Stewart I've been practicing for weeks because im gonna start a youtube channel and this is gonna be a video on my channel im so nervous.

I practice other songs like life of the party by Shawn Mendes, I also play stitches. I start playing another song and I'm interrupted by Cameron coming in the room and closing the door

I turn around and smile at him,

j- well you found me

C- indeed I did, how's it going

j- it's going great Cameron, I didn't mess up once when I did go and I think I'm finally ready to play and post it on a newly created youtube channel

I turn to show him that I had just finished making my channel and he smiles and hugs me and doesn't say anything till I hear him say,

C- im so fucking proud of you jade, your gonna be a great Youtuber I promise you're gonna have hundreds and thousands of subscribers before you know it, and ill be the first one,

he pulls his phone out of his pocket and he goes to youtube he finds my channel and subscribes and then turns on my post notifications. I play one more song for Cameron he picked memories by Shawn Mendes and I start to play and sing the song, Cameron applauds once the song is over and then he confesses to me that he knows Shawn Mendes and just sent him the recording of me and I screamed no I wasn't mad or anything I was beyond happy a little irritated he didn't just ask and because he never told me that he knew Shawn he explained it was because he was going to be joining a group called magcon soon and he was part of it, he wanted to tell me sooner but he still wasn't sure if he was doing it, I told him he was.

j- Cameron Alexander Dallas your going

C- but you won't be there

j- yea I will be in the audience cheering and screaming like every other fangirl in the audience

c- he smiles orrrr you can be on stage and perform with Shawn, 'll talk to Bart about it.

j- Cameron it's my senior year I can't just uproot it

C- oh but you think I can?

j- I don't mean it like that, it's just Berkeley is my dream college Cameron, you know this and I'm sorry

c- it's okay I get it, I'm gonna go

He leaves, leaving me standing there bawling, I begin to play a song that no one knows because it's by me. I haven't told anyone about this song because it's about Cameron and I don't want him to know about it yet. I finish the song and look up to see jade standing in the doorway she starts to clap

s- is that an original song?

j- yea but don't tell anyone, it's about Cameron, and your the only one that knows about it

s- my lips are sealed, but what's with the sad face?

j- uh Camerons mad at me, because I won't go to magcon with him because I want to focus on getting into Berkeley, plus it's my senior year and I don't wanna miss out on prom or homecoming,

s- you know they aren't going to any shows unless there's no school right I thought Cameron told you, they start thanksgiving break then end when it's over, and then the two weeks for Christmas break.
