The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down, just to feel it's warmth......
......................... ..................... ..................
According to Gulf Kanawut, There has always been three stages of life.
Birth
What the Fuck is this
and Death.
He was definitely in the second one right now. His hand almost inching towards the cigarette packet inside his coat's pocket. Everything was testing his patience.
The trembling kid sitting inside the car, his mother who was on her..what number of glass of wine was this again? And of course, his new father in law who was standing outside the car in front of him judging him while killing him in different ways in his imagination. This whole family is very good at annoying him.
He lasted several more seconds before finally getting his packet out. He needs this smoke right now. Very much so.
"This is not the end, Kanawut."
"Obviously it isn't." His eyes roam around the room looking for something.
"If anyone saw those photos, I swear I'm going to kill you."
This made Gulf look at him with curiosity. He will be laughing by now if he still can. But the rage-filled look was making him question again precisely what was stopping him from killing this man right then and there.
"Exactly what makes you think you can even come near me without my permission? You are not in that position father in law." He blew the smoke in Navin Suppasit's face. This is slowly becoming his new favorite thing. "But you don't seem to grasp the situation fully. I can tear you apart if I wanted Father in law." He leaned closer to him. "Right here, right now. You don't want to witness this wedding becoming a funeral right?"
Well, he wouldn't care if it actually becomes one. After all, weddings are funerals too, just with some cake that is. "Anyway.." He step aside throwing the burnt stick on the floor, stepping on it to extinguish the flame. "I don't think I have enough time to look at your face anymore. And you also need to handle your wife. She is almost on the edge of becoming an alcoholic."
Mr. Suppasit eyes narrowed as he scoffed while glaring at him. "You don't need to think about my family."
"What?" He smiled at him in amazement, pretending to be flabbergasted. "How can I not? We are family now. Right! Oh, that reminds me..." He let go of the car door handle stepping towards the middle-aged man who took a step back automatically. "This should be the last time you will ever raise your hand on him."
Navin Suppasit looked confused for a moment. Before his eyes widened in surprise while looking sideways at he person who was sitting inside the car, oblivious to anything that was happening outside. "Don't tell me you love my son or something." A mocking laughter left his lips. "You can't fool me, Kanawut."
"Oh, but I'm not trying to. You are not a child that can be fooled. You are a grown up man. At least grown up enough to know that your son is also my husband now." An unreadable expression took over Gulf's face but his eyes were still the calm that always exist before the storm hits.
"You can do anything to your son. Kill him, cut him, throw his body into the ocean. I don't give a fuck." He leaned more closer to him, his six ft 2 form easily towering over the man, his hand taking a hold of the trembling man's tie, tightening it a little around his neck, making the man gasp for air. "But if you even touch a strand of my husband's hair, that will be the last day you ever get to walk on this earth." With that he let go of that man's tie, stepping away a little. And Navin Suppasit seems like he can finally breathe now.
