Sometimes people are afraid of falling in love, because it sometimes comes in a way we never expected....

"Do you Mew Suppasit take Gulf Kanawut as your lawfully wedded husband?"
The church was silent. It didn't have many people. But all of their eyes were set upon him. The man currently everyone was looking at was looking down. His lips were pursed. His eyes were filled with unshed tears as they connected with another pair of eyes. Black, unemotional, cold, ruthless eyes. This was not what he imagined. He was only 18. His life was all set before him. But he knew with the next words, it all will be over. It all will be at the mercy of a man who seems like doesn't even know the meaning of that word.
"Come on darling." The menacing tone sounded like a threat to him. "Everyone's waiting."
He looked up at him with every drop of hatred he felt and said the words that doomed his future from that moment.
"I do."

"I didn't kill her. She wasn't even home that day. I found no one after reaching home."
The man kept blabbering but Gulf's eyes were set upon the other man's fingers that seems to be fidgeting every now and then. Interesting!
His pupils were dilated. His eyes seems to look elsewhere when talking. He was fidgeting nonstop. It was very obvious that he was lying. But it wasn't Gulf Kanawut's concern though.
His mind was outside the waiting area. The time going slowly. Very slowly as he keeps remembering the place he had to visit after this.
"Mr. Kanawut. Please save me from this."
There were five stages of grief but three stages of sin in Gulf's book. Ignorance, feigning innocence and pleading. To his surprise, the begging already started. "Do you know that there are two types of criminals." He sipped his now cold coffee. "One who is very good at lying. And you've to be if you want to get away with crimes."
He leaned forward to look at the other's scared eyes. Was this man afraid of Him? Good. Being afraid is good.
"Two..who is bad at lying. And they are the ones who always get trapped. Am I clear Mr. Beckerly."
He almost laughed at the man. This idiot wanted to flee it seems like. But it's not an option anymore. After all it's a jail for hell's sake.
"Here is what we are gonna do." He sipped again then threw away the coffee in disgust. Time to hire a new secretary. "You want me as your lawyer. You'll get me as your lawyer. But for that I want the whole truth.."
"I...I will pay you double, triple.."
A smirk played at his lips as he looked at the desperate man before pleading before him. His begging almost not reaching his ear. But that one word did.
Money! Does people really think everything can be done with money. To say the truth. It can be but not always. "It was nice meeting you Mr. Bekerley." He finally stood up after looking at his watch, then took his coat from the chair. This was a lost cause anyway.
"Mr. Kanawut..."
His attention was on his watch now that was warning him again and again that he was late. And there were still flowers to buy. Today has been a waste of time.
"I...."
Maybe the store will still be open. He completely ignored the man, walking towards the door and almost turning on the doorknob when that man finally said the words he wanted to hear from the start.
