I shipped them really much during the show but they were never more than besties.They had an unexplainable chemistry and rumors say (theory) that they actually did it in the prison world. The vampire diaries was actually supposed to have 13 seasons but Nina Dobrev left the show so they only made 8.The thing is that Bonnie and Damon were supposed to and up together at the and of season 13 but it didn't happen.I will right a story about them if you'd like.
