Chapter Three | Smarty Pants (FILLER)

AN: so basically i have some ideas for the next chapter but this chapter has me stumped so this is gonna be very short and it's very filler i'm sorry i promise a better one next time!

Hunter's POV

I got up and moved my desk closer to hers so we could discuss the project together. It honestly felt good to be the partner to the new girl. I felt like I was doing some sort of public service by agreeing to be her friend. That and she was actually really sweet.

"So, do you have any ideas?" I asked her, rubbing my hands together.

She shook her head in response, putting her arm up in front of her face. Wow she was really shy...

"C'mon Chloe, I'm not gonna bite." I told her with a light chuckle.

I caught her smile a small beautiful smile, and it felt good. Maybe she was opening up to me a bit? Then again she it was hard to tell...

"Actually, I do.." She said softly and quietly, a small giggle escaping her lips.

"Then lets hear em." I chuckled lightly.

"You know maybe we could do a little bit on Stephan Hawking?" Chloe suggested.

"That guy with the robot voice?" I asked her, doing the robot.

"Yeah." She giggled lightly. "He has ALS so he needs to use a voice simulators to speak."

"ALS?" I asked her, confused.

She pretended to dump something over her head by putting her arms up and flicking her wrists down. "Remember the ice bucket challenge? That's what it was raising awareness for."

"Ohh." I said, it was all clear now. "Can you explain a bit of it to me?"

She started going into full detail. She was using all these sciencey terms and it was breathtaking.

"Wow, you're a real smarty pants aren't you?" I told her with a light chuckle.

"Well, I did place second in my school science fair last year." Chloe giggled.

"That means we got this project in the bag!" I chuckled, reaching my hand up for a high five, which she gave me.
